Aquilani has been really poor for Pool. He was never first choice for Roma, instead he was always a substitute to D.Pizarro. What exactly has Aquilani shown to prove that he could have been one of the best?

I'm not saying Gago is better mind you, he hasn't proven much either. I was just surprised by the comment, "he would have been one of the worlds best".

As for the comparison between the two. I don't think they play the same role anyway. Gago is more of a player that would sit back and distribute the ball from deep. I'd say he's more of a deep lying playmaker. He can tackle well, and he has an extremely high work rate, which he rarely gets credit for, plus his ability to pass the ball and his intelligence too. Aquilani is more of an attacking CM, he's the more creative of the two, and he has the ability to shoot too. I think they are two different players personally.

No way.

Aquilani would be one of the best MC in the world if there weren't his injuries. And even now, he's at least three times better that Gago in every single aspect of the game.
Well actually yes way because I do rate Gago higher than Aquilani.

And for how many players we heard that, he had injuries and will have them, so it means he will never be one of the best not even close.

Let's sign someone who will not be injured for at least half a season...

I hope Inter don't end up with Kuyt, he's underrated and he'll be the only thing they are missing, a winger who can track back and Kuyt is the best in the business.

Kuyt is a really good player, it took some time for me to be convinced, but i am convinced now. Extremely hard working, extremely consistent and extremely reliable.

Kuyt is greatness.
I just don't know if it's smart to break up a quartet that was doing amazing for Inter (Pandev-Sneijder-Eto'o-Milito).

That depth Inter will have is gonna be incredible :(
