I think any honest American commentator would be first and foremost concerned with how beholden to israel the political apparatus is. That imo is the paramount question. His analysis of the situation pre oct 7th is pretty in line with what we discussed here, but it hinges on israel being unified and monolithic in its direction and institutions. The more information comes out the more i realize that there's imo actively rogue elements within military and intelligence and house israel is a divided and fractured one.

I understand your point, but at the same time we've reached a tipping point with regards to the Holocaust.
