@Zacheryah there is nothing wrong with what law you establish as long as it works and the people want it. i dont know if you actually know what the Sharia is. its the highest law for all muslims and its only natural to establish it in a state with 99% muslims in it. what they didnt teach you in your classes is that what you see now in the middle east is not Sharia. it is a bunch of states ruled by dictators in which the majority of the population are muslims. that was a system established after the WW1 when the Ottoman empire colapsed. Saudi Arabia is the biggest ally of the US in the region and one of the biggest in the world. most of the dictators are bitches of the US and if some of them comes to the idea to not obey anymore he is eradicated instantly. im sure you know most of this, i just wanted to say you that there is not a single state in the world ruled by Sharia, as i think you think there is. Afghanistan tried to establish it and thats why there is a war going on there for 12 years. so you should keep your critizism for yourself until and if you witness a Sharia state yourself and then say if its outdated or not. or you could read the Sharia. not just read it with hatred and dismissing everything you read. every law is there for a reason, and if you think a bit of one, maybe you will uderstand the purpose of it...

In Islam, there is no separation between people and religion, state and religion. Religion is exactly in the middle of people's life. If you try to separate, or even worse, force people to live like you tell them to do, this is what you get. Today there is no single country ruled with Sharia but the region is living it's worst days in human history. Why are the colonialists pumping secularism in middle east? It surely isn't because they love the people live there so much but to cause unending conflict between masses of people and illegitimate governments which don't reflect the values of people. So they can suck them dry without even using armies like they did in past.
