Thanks guys, and B I will send you some hot ones to help you work out soon :eyebrows:

Due to that injury I must have a workout plan for that month, but I don’t have any idea how will that work with the injured leg.

I have dumbbells I think I can manage to train all body parts except back and abs for sure.

Maybe pull-ups would do the trick for the back.

Any tips guys? :D

Thanks Wankdan.:D Shouldn't you go easy on your body for a while at least? When i don't have time to get to gym i do these pull up exercises to work on my upper body at home. So i use my door pull up bar for these. Eight reps each & they'll target your upper back, arms & shoulders plus your core.

Pull ups
Chin ups
Knee up twists
Chin up straight leg lifts
Pole grip
One arm pull ups
Opposing grip pull ups
Straight leg raises & holds
Knee Lifts

Of course I should go easy, but I think I can do anything since I’m not using my leg. I just don’t want to throw out my hard work in that month. I guess I will be able to do some of these exercises.

Thanks B

No prob man but maybe this break was something your body needed. What other areas are you looking at working on? I have some other exercises you can use that won't require lower body movement.

Chest, Biceps, Triceps and Shoulders, I will train them using dumbbells. I know all the workouts for them.

As for the back, maybe pull-ups with weights.

I don’t know Deneb, my form isn’t that long too. I’ve been training hard only for month and half I guess.

So, taking a month off would kill my progress. I know you’re definitely right, but I was thinking if I was seated and do everything carefully, maybe it is achievable.

its just not worth it. and i know how you feel i ve been there, you get depressed and you want to be able to do at least part of what you normally can do HOWEVER you re still young and this can heal properly allowing you some sort of normalcy last thing you need is a lingering issue. 2 years from now your overall progress will not depend on 1 month. rest, eat healthy, and follow doc's orders.

Salamtak Wah, but you should rest, or work your upper body at a slower rate. ACL/MCL is no fun. The real work starts right after the surgury, it is not going to be an uphill climb and you need to focus on your physiotherapy, good luck to you buddy, and hopefully you will be alright

Hi salman,
When I was new in the gym I got the same problem.
It happens when you were new in gym, so nothing to worry.
Do work on stretching and warm up before going to any machine or heavy exercising.
