Like every World Cup i prefer if Italy crashes out from the first round.

:p
The fun isn't in Italy crushing out. The fun is in the moaning and the conspiracy theories that follow later.

Can you believe that they even created a theory that Denmark and Sweden fixed their match :howler:
That was a perfectly fair and valid match but of course, the Italians couldn't accept that teams can play fair and they couldn't accept that they were eliminated because they sucked.

Oh, and the 2002 elimination.
They blamed a very good ref for their elimination. Sore losers.

Indeed, the Italians are the sorest losers ever. I can't remember the last time they lost a tournament because they just were not good enough.

In the last Confed Cup, they didn't care about the tournament(despite playing their full first team)

In 2008 they were "unlucky" to lose in penalties against Spain(despite Spain dominating the game and deserving to win in full time)

in 2004, the Scandinavians fixed their game :howler:

In 2002 the ref was against them.

Can't wait for the excuses and conspiracy theories this time.

Tenner on them saying that the FIFA doesn't want the same team to win it twice.

I don't know what they will say but I won't be surprised if Napoli's director cancel's Hamsik's contract and kicks him out of the team.
If Gaucci did that to Ahn Jung-Hwan, why shouldn't they do it to every player who eliminates Italy?

I wouldn't be surprised. It would be nice if they played South Korea again and lost to them though, this time they aren't hosts, so it would be interesting to hear the excuses :seven:

Who cares about the Azzurri anyway?
I won't lie here. I care enough to watch their matches hoping that they would fail.

Don't forget the golden goal rule in 2000. FIFA created it in 1996 exactly because they knew how Italy will sooner or later suffer from it.

From what I've seen, most of the sore losers aren't even Italian anyway.

In 2004 and 2008 Italy only have themselves to blame.

However, they were extremely unfortunate to lose to those French Faggots in 2000, and the referee was clearly biased in favour of Korea in 2002.

Guess who is the loudest one when talking about the quality of the new ball.

I love Gigi, but the ball is the same for everyone.

Oh wait....that's fucking perfect.....the ball.....the fucking ball will be the excuse! I bet half of my vcash now that they will use the ball as the excuse when they'll be eliminated. They're already preparing the ground for that excuse. They will certainly use it.

Unfortunate? There is nothing called unfortunate when you miss so many goals and let in a goal in the last minute. You have only yourself to blame for.

The Azzurri fanboys are a bunch of whiners and sore losers, that's a fact. A fact that is equal to the one that the team they support is a bunch of cheaters.

That 2002 game was a complete joke. Some of the worst refereeing I have ever witnessed. But I guess it is funny when it happens to a team you hate.

 Harsh. They were wasteful indeed, and can only have themselves to blame for not putting away those chances. However, luck plays a pivotal role in sports, and on that given day, the Azzurri were simply unlucky.

    Wait a minute,

    are you for real?

Italians aren't the best when it comes to losing and I have no problems admitting that, but to say that 2002 and 2004 were normal results is ludicruous, Alen. Five legal goals disallowed in just four games? Del Piero elbowed in the face with impunity with the ref standing right next to him? Totti who got sent off for.. well.. I still don't know what he got sent off for. And then Korea repeats it all against Spain. I'm sorry, but there is no way one could interpret that as being normal.

Funny thing though: Ireland had ONE call against them and they filed a complaint. They wanted to go the World Cup. Lots of people backed them. No talk about poor losers there.
