Are you trying to suggest dzeko is better than higuain? :howler:
Dzeko just had a brilliant season, I don't think it's such a :howler: to suggest he'd do better than Gonzalo at Juve. But Higuain had a great season too, although he was bad for large spells of it, he was also very decisive in all our competitions, like his goal against Inter, Tottenham tie, in Coppa against Atalanta and plenty others

I have this phobia that we make it to the Final next year and Higuain missed a sitter in the last seconds.
Better than not making it to the Final next year and Higgy is playing somewhere else. Possibly even on one of the Final participants. Guess than you're hoping your phobia becomes reality.

Even worse phobia: Higgy plays for another team against us and we both are in the final, Higgy scores the clutchest goal of his career.

Mertens had a better season last year than Higuain, it doesn't make him a better striker or player, it just means that at a certain period of time, one player performed better than the other. Salah is having a better season than Neymar, theres still no doubt which is the better player though.

Same for Dzeko and Higuain.

Dzeko outperformed him in the last 5/10 seasons while being on lesser teams in 8/10 seasons, at some point it's not a coincidence anymore right? Also, he's definitely the player with the more complete skillset and game right now, as Higgys contribution in all but poaching goals has been zero for more than a year now

Dzeko wasn't even a regular starter at Man City FFS. You are reaching, trying to say that Dzeko has had a better career than G.Higuain.

Yet it was his goals that were decisive for their 2 Premier league titles in the final stretch of the season. Higuain had the more glorious career, he played for Madrid and Juve, and the Argentina NT. But he didn't outperform Dzeko in half their relevant careers, as is the case with many other forwards I believe

There's 0 indication that he would, for one higuain has had the more illustrious career, secondly dezkos time at a semi good team proved to be underwhelming.
