We are a second tier club? Come on
In a financial point , we are.

In current football domination, we are. AT least if we take teams like Barcelona as a standard.

And if we are not able to keep the pogbas and the dybalas because they go to greener pastures, yes we are a second tier club

thats the team with the highest net worth, of course it's tier 1
I don't mean financially, just as projects that players maybe attracted to in the current day. Either way United has enough past glory and money currently to stay relevant to fit the first tier..:D

If this summer ends with:

Khedira
Zaza
Dybala
Rugani
Sandro
Goetze
Mandzukic
Pogba staying

....

...and if the Vidal deal brings us 35-40 to invest yet because Goetze was a loan then I feel bad for those that doubted him. Still, Goetze or not the guy had a great mercato.
:agree:

Agree.

Imo:
1 tier: Barca,Real,Man United,Bayern.
2 tier: Chelsea,Juve,Arsenal,Liverpool,City...PSG...

Every single team mentioned with the exception of, I believe, PSG have a higher net worth than Juve, according to the latest Forbes Top 50

And no, Juve are not on the list

What's your take on all this?
We are doing the right thing by selling Vidal. He's not going to appreciate in value going forward. The club has literally waited until the last possible minute to cash in on him and it's now or never because we won't be able to turn an erection-worthy profit come next summer. Vidal has given this club all he has and we should be grateful for that. I know that I am.

If Beppe actually pulls off a deal with Bayern for Götze then it will add to his legacy. I just don't see how/why Bayern would consider letting go of Götze, but it if it works out for us then fuck Bayern.

Now I'm going to go eat a god damn snack.

I'm horny

As do PSG and City.

I feel like some people are going to get a reality check next yr.

We're an Arsenal level club taking all aspects into account especially finances..

But soon we'll lose ground on them too.

We are indeed tier 2.

We aren't elite at this point.

Right now... we are pretty much a second tier club the same as athletico and the rest. If we continue building young talent and then selling him because we cant retain.. it will hurst us.

no man, fuck buybacks... it always put us in bad situations...and bayern will not buy back their player at the double.. thats just a no. We will ose him, and most importantly..we will strenghten our image as "stepping stone club"...which im pretty sure we dont want to.
We are miles above Atletico, financially.

Considering revenues I would say:

Real, Barca, United and Bayern are tier 1

Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Juventus would be tier 2,

while clubs like Atletico have inferior finance even to mid table EPL clubs and are far bellow.

Ambition wise, our ability to compete on the highest level and consistently win silverware, enough financial pull to retain our best players, perk of having wealthy enterprise behind us capable of providing us with relatively cheap long term loans, is making Juventus definitely tier 1 club.
