Marotta signs players who want to sign for us, with the exception of Pogba. That was a class signing. But the rest were practically easy, especially Vidal who always said he wanted us. It's not that difficult, you could send a circus clown into those transfer discussions. All the Italian players wanted us, Vidal wanted us, Barzagli, et cetera.

Now Diamonkey wants us. Big deal.

That was not the point he wanted to make.

He wanted to say that Marotta just complete the easy transfers. The ones that need more planning are the ones he fails

I appreciate the explanation towards the mentally incapable.

Essentially the players who don't want to join us, if we are simplifying to that degree.

It's not like we are on a level playing field to the teams we have lost players to, either financially or in terms of competition, as if it is Marotta pitting his wits directly against those at Man City, United, Barcelona, or whorever. He's operating at Juventus with our budget.

You can always say we can spend better, of course we can. We can add up Martinez, Matri and the rest, if we completely ignore the context of each move. We could have used money better over 2-3 windows. It doesn't change, if we want top players we have to pay more, whether that is with planning or not. Players and agents know what they can get from clubs in the top bracket, so they are not going to rush into joining early season.

Our position doesn't change, we can offer them the chance of trophies in a good league with good wages, others can offer more. So going back to the point on players wanting us, of course that is who we will sign. Otherwise we will sign players who we can offer more for, or if there is no interest elsewhere.

It doesn't really matter to me who the sporting director is, we still have the same disadvantages. For me our progress is on track, and now we clearly have to make a move for more quality. Marotta knows that, but don't expect it at once.

Marotta deems it as a really important factor, in his decision to go all in for a player in the transfer market, whether or not that player is truly motivated to play for the club.

I think that's a great, great thing. It's a sheer testament to the beautiful decisionmaking of a man who by some is considered Great.

A man whose name can be heard shouted late at night at a Sauna of which I'm particularly fond.

Look, would you rather he persuaded players who have no motivation at all - other than money - to play for the club?

This Juve is all about team unity and team spirit. Coincidence?

Very true, but you'll still hear non-sense excuses for Marotta from his fans.

How about this one?

We can't afford the wages of the likes of Tevez, Ibra, Suarez etc.

Now, is that an excuse, or just simply stating a fact?

Why blame Marotta for facts that he can't do nothing about?

Marotta's critics expect him to for example convince Tevez to lower his wages from 10 million to somewhere around 5 (which I believe is our absolute maximum, not the reported 6 reported by some media), just as they expected him to lower Ibra's 12 million to the same amount.

Sure, it's his job to negotiate and try to get players to lower their demands so as to fit into our budget, but that's just too big a gap to ask for.

Names like that should therefore not be expected, at all. Names like Jovetic and Lamela and perhaps Higuain (although not likely), could be a possibility.

No, not really. But why openly name Tevez in an interview and say it's possible and then bring some disgusting player in? He needs go learn how to communicatie the truth ffs.

Then don't chase players that aren't short of interest from other more lucrative clubs... Oh wait, we cant get World class on our terms.

More like Diamanti, Zuniga and Berardi

But he is a pure blood italian, playing for the team that represents italy , how can you dislike him ?

He's nothing like that traitor rossi who neglected the mighty USA, turning to italy and gifted them many cups that should have gone to the USA instead !

Nono, you should like Diamanti
