Tevez is City's top scorer this season and his performances last season in the second half of the season won them the league.
dzeko scored 14 goals, tevez scored 11.

and it was not tevez that won them the league last year. he had a robben season with a handfull of good games.
Its the entire team getting there that won them the league

In the championsleague and the premier league, tevez wasent a starter, and scored only 11 goals in 29 games. He was a substitute

In the cup, players were rested and he scored 5 goals against inferior teams.

The big Tevez from 2 years ago, would bench any city forward. Current tevez was benched by dzeko.

No he wasn't. He's a starter and has more minutes than all the other City strikers.

Where are you getting this 1 Champions League game from?

- - - Updated - - -

He started 3 group games and came on as a substitute in 2.

There wasn't a spell of league games where he was consistently benched either, and like I said he has more minutes than Kun or Džeko.

Hmm, true, must have mixed up something.

regardless, he was rather bad at scoring the last two years, compared to what came before.

2009-2011 tevez, now that was something. Wonder if he still can

I've seen him have great performances over the last year or two, I don't think his game is the problem for this transfer.

One that stood out is the Chelsea game last season, his first after he had been golfing for a few months, and he turned things around. Big game for City.

A handfull. Just a handfull.

Nothing, compared to the tevez from 2 years ago really. That was quite the player.

Pure skill and on the field mentality wise : 2009-2011 tevez >>>>>>> cavani, falcao.

nowadays, not so sure

People not wanting Tevez :howler: :chan:

 :howler:
We are after Higuain/Jojo/Tevez,maybe 2 from these.
So common man you can't expect to sign ONLY WC players.
it's tottaly normal to sign few good and cheap players after you put most of the money
on your primary WC targets.
you can't expect to sign Coentrao for LB & Di Maria for the wings and Hummels for the D.

Tevez ~15m
Jovetic (swap Gio and/or Matri and/or cash)
Llorente 0
Kolarov 10m
Berardi (loan back to Sassuolo)
Diamanti
Diakite 0

that would be 9.5/10 mercato. (maybe better CB)

Of course not. I just found it amusing that you referred to those players as "fine targets" :p

Marotta signs players who want to sign for us, with the exception of Pogba. That was a class signing. But the rest were practically easy, especially Vidal who always said he wanted us. It's not that difficult, you could send a circus clown into those transfer discussions. All the Italian players wanted us, Vidal wanted us, Barzagli, et cetera.

Now Diamonkey wants us. Big deal.
