“Tevez? In terms of quality and experience, we are not the first to notice him,” said Marotta.
“He wants to make up for lost time, as his years at Manchester City were not the best. We have not made any approach towards the English club.
“It is clear that at this stage of the season agents step forward and I will not rule out a meeting in that sense. We could reach an agreement with them, but then we’d have to strike a deal with his club too.”
“Higuain is younger and is therefore worth more on the transfer market.Tevez is certainly an easier negotiation process, as his contract expires next summer.
“We are trying to strengthen the attack for next season, so that is our primary objective. We’re after players who suit Antonio Conte’s football.”

It's amazing how a big fish like Marotta every single time say almost the same about various things like player or club. When i start reading interview with Marotta I already know i won't discover anything.

Is this guy aware that we are talking about Manchester City? They don't have to sell. Ever.
So it is much easier when you see any of those two clubs /Real Madrid and City/ willing to sell a player, regardless of years left on contract, than forcing them to do so due to an expiring contract. If City wants to keep Tevez they will. For one, two or twenty-two years. Same as Higuain and Real M.

But reporters are putting words into his mouth. :shifty:
They asked Conte the same question. He replied saying that the focus is on today's game and the effort the players put in and all the sacrifice they made to give us a great season.

Marrotta needs to get his shit together. Now he better get Tevez, after his thesis about how it's easier than getting Higuain. :ferocious:

As much as i am dissapointed from lowering from Higuain to the seemingly half retired tevez, lets wait with the insults, ill the mercato passed.

Hence its not even started, there is hope yet
