What does hernanes have to do with injuries? What about total lack of a viable market strategy? This was by far the worst summer mercato in my history as a juve fan, worse than the infamous secco one
Hernanes is not juventus real plan.
Even marotta admit it to public
Juventus was forced to buy someone who can play as CM, Regista and AM because marchisio and khedira injured.

When every one were injured, of course you plan would nit work properly.

Time will answer juventus mercato is good or not.

Nowhere near as bad as the Secco 09/10 version. Nowhere near at all.
:agree: Nearly every player that Secco bought had no impact our future here and nearly everyone of them preferred warming our bench and accepting loans so they could collect their huge pay cheques.

It was no coincidence that when Conte took over the only players in our first team that were there during Secco's time was Buffon, Chellini and Marchisio and they were all brought in during the Moggi regime. .

At least Marotta while still having a disatrous Mercato was able to bring a lot of players that we can count on in the future Dybala, Rugani, Lemina etc

How much did secco "waste" that summer?
Only at the end of the season we'll be able to judge who messed up the most.

Secco & the board at that time basically made sure we had to start from scratch again.
Let's see if we'll have to do the same thing again next summer. The jury is still out, if you ask me.

€50m on Melo and Diego and choosing decrepit Cannavaro and Grosso was pretty bad planning at the time. But it's funny because many thought it was a good mercato in September. Most since didn't have that level of excitement. Just shows how worthless judging them at the start can be.

Hernanes

I've stopped wasting my time trying to figure that one out. And the beauty of it is that they now owe Inter another 500K :howler:

The one good thing I will say about this is the direction to at least bring some young players who will be the foundation of this club for the next several years, barring any Coman type episodes.

Sandro, Dybala, Rugani, Lemina this year
Morata, Pereyra last season

To go along with Pogba. So at the very least, the building blocks are there.

But Hernanes and Zaza  . I laugh to keep myself from crying.

Melo is not a Juventus type player. Clearly showed it when he kicked a man in the head ffs.

Diego... hasn't done much since he left us, has he? Was too slow on the ball for Serie A.

Taking in consideration the position of strenght we were after the CL finals and the good incomes we had...yes we can put this mercato maybe on par with that Secco´s money wasting nightmare.

But Hernanes and Zaza  . I laugh to keep myself from crying.

Really, i hate marotta to my guts right now for getting rid of llorente and bringing Mandzuflop. Lets be clear, Llorente last year was shid, but he really liked this team and maybe could improve this year with cuadrado and dybala around him. tevez isolated him too much.

And the Zaza heresy is unforgivable.

Waste of fukin euros man, im telling you...utter waste very secco-like.

The freebies that left us is also painful to remember.

I dont know what marotta was smoking...but it definitely didnt worked.

How long should we wait to judge? Give it a few months and then forget about it?
