Everytime he opened his mouth in the last six months I felt nothing but rage after reading it

On the top of our financial power and general attractivity he drove us full speed against the wall instead of capitalizing on the moment and lift us that decisive bit higher.

Stop beeing so pessimistic cause last mercato went wrong
My problem with Beppe is he gives up too easy with this nonsense about players not wanting Juventus, and not wanting Italy.

They don't want Juventus and Italy because we aren't willing to pay them enough to want Juventus and Italy. It's that simple.

So we have two major problems. One is that Beppe rarely wants to pay even close to the market value of expensive players... Dybala is the outlier. And yes, we don't often have the budget for it, but we did this summer... and two, is that we clearly aren't willing to offer the kind of salary these players want or else they would jump at a chance to join last season's CL finalists.

Until these 2 issues are resolved we are going to have a lot of trouble signing top players each and every mercato.

Not much has changed. But now the haters actually have some ammunition due to the poor season (so far)

NFI what they were whinging about the previous four seasons though.
But couldn't we say the same thing in reverse about a few members who are claiming Beppe was basically perfect this mercato too?

Beppe was fantastic the last few years... but he made error after error this summer and we're seeing the results on the field. He deserves criticism right now, and lots of it.

How much we should pay to afford isco or gotze?
Salary and transfer fee.

60-70 mill and 6-7 mil for Isco and a little less for Gotze. Saving a 5 mills here and there doesn't matter as long as we are getting the right quality of players.

A window that only had Isco, Tielemans, Khedira, and Jovetic would have been better for me than the one we actually did.

Zaza, Sandro, Lemina, Hernanes, Mandzukic, were unnecessary.

It's strange that people think these top players won't come to Italy. That's not the case at all. Their clubs won't sell for the low fees we offer, and the players aren't convinced to come here by the low wages we offer. Napoli managed to convince Higuain to come by paying him more than anyone at Juventus makes, and paying a higher transfer fee than we've yet been willing to pay.

Like you say, 60-70 mil and 6-7 mil wages and we probably could have purchased Isco in the summer. And with the sale of Vidal taken into account, we should have been purchasing a player such as Isco, Gotze, Oscar... even if it cost us 60-70 mil and broke our "wage cap"...

If we're not at some point willing to break the wage cap, and spend a little more on the occasional established star, we're never going to join the ranks of the elite, and we're never going to have the consistent high earnings from both late stage Champion's League runs, and better marketability due to increased star power in the team. We're not going to get lucky with Pirlo, Tevez, Pogba style deals forever. We're seeing that this year.
