Giuly would be a great acquisition were we to use attacking wingers i.e. a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 kind of formation. He won't work as winger nor as striker in a plain 4-4-2.

We might want to keep our average age down a bit, either way.

I'm not sure whether a plain 4-4-2 formation would suit him or not. But absolutely, he'd be great in 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1.

I agree with the last sentence, without a doubt. :pint:

Just a though on players. Perhaps this is a bit out of left field, but what about Tevez. I am sure that he will want off of West Ham. Perhaps he would be available.
west ham will be relegated this season and Tevez will leave, i cant see too many teams chasing him considering he hasnt scored in 6 months but he would be a great purchase

Sounds familiar Lion. I think you need to get new material. I wonder if you are this big of a badass in person?

Stick to the debate and bag the personal attacks. You are starting to produce a trend.
ok Mommy.

because the internet is serious business right? I was obviously being sarcastic when talking to Jacques. It was just a joke.

sticking to the debate:

Guily had the chance to leave last season when his contract was set to expire. He choose to stay even though he knew he would be spending the majority of the seasons ahead on the bench. He does not strike me as someone who would love to fight for his place. I can't see how he would be an upgrade over Camoranesi. The only thing he has on Camo is pace and a better finishing touch.

edit: about Tevez. He would be a really good player, but we already have 4players that are similar to him: Del Piero, Palladino, Miccoli and Bojinov. He's not a guy that will bag 25+ goals for us. Plus I don't like MSI acting as his agent. MSI is too shady a company.

I thought that Miccoli and Bojinov weren't coming back. Also, I don't think Palladino is ready although he does show promise.

Miccoli signed a new contract until 2010 so It's pretty safe to assume he's coming back. Bojinov..well it seems like he will leave though I seriosuly hope that we end up buying. I do think though that if none of our targets for the striker position we don't get then we will probably sign Bjinov

i think that giuly is a great buy. the way i seeit is that we can keep camo on the right wing and we can field giuly as a left winger and have nedved play in the middle next to paro/zanetti/gianni and we can have sali play as right back that way juve will be great on the wings and trez will have a decent supply of crosses.

    what you think

    please discuss

Turk, £6.5M for a player in the value of Giuly would be perfect, in my opinion..
Ahmed, can you please stop using British pounds for currency?? You are confusing me and lots of others, I think.

What was your other account name?

I agree, but we cannot rely just on Nedved for next season, we should buy quality CM.
