may be, looool :D

but if they younger they will not cost us alot

now i hope that tudor still with us cuz he has an experience and also we have Piri and Palzzareti , so it will not be a big problem if we bring a young defender :p
True Palla,I jope that Kovac will stay,he is good, and we would need another central defender (Legro is not so good) and it is a big question mark for Tudor.

    Givet hints at Monaco departure

Monaco defender Gael Givet has hinted he wants to leave the Principality club despite their wishes to keep hold of the French international.

Juventus, who will play in Serie B next year following their involvement in the recent match-fixing scandal, have expressed their interest in the Monegasques captain.

The Italian giants appointed former Monaco boss Didier Deschamps as head coach after Fabio Capello's departure for Real Madrid, and the ex-France skipper is a long-standing admirer of his former charge.

"I am not sure about my future," Givet said. "I have a few contacts but I am not sure Monaco will be happy to let me go."

And the Mediterranean club have indeed made it clear they have no intention of parting company with their key defender.

The 24-year-old was a member of the France squad which reached the World Cup final, although he did not play any part in the competition.

He has however been a pivotal player in Monaco's side for three seasons, helping the club reach the final of the Champions League in 2003.

"We are expecting Gael back in training," said Monaco manager Marc Keller. "And things are clear. We want to keep him.

"He is our captain and one of the key players we intend to rely on to build up a competitive side next season."

Monaco, who will restart Ligue 1 action on August 5 against Nancy, defeated AC Milan 5-4 on penalties in a friendly on Wednesday evening.

    Juve want me, says Givet
    Thursday 27 July, 2006
Monaco stopper Gael Givet has admitted that he could be playing in Serie B with Juventus next season.

The Frenchman has been strongly linked with a move to the demoted Italian giants and he’s conceded that a switch to Turin is an option.

“At this moment in time I don’t have any certainties when it comes to my future,” the 24-year-old told the La Provence newspaper.

“But I have had contact with Juventus. Now we have to see whether the Bianconeri can reach an agreement with Monaco over my transfer.”

The central defender has been requested by new boss Didier Deschamps who worked with the player during his reign as Coach in the principality.

“Givet is a player I know well and one which I would like in my team,” the former midfielder is quoted as saying by sections of the French Press.

The Old Lady of Italian football are in desperate need for a new defender after the sales of Lilian Thuram, Fabio Cannavaro and Gianluca Zambrotta.

Monaco yesterday suggested that they wanted to keep the individual and insisted that they had yet to be contacted by the Turin giants.

Deschamps me connaît très bien. Bien sûr, ce projet pourrait me convenir".
