Pirlo rejects Chelsea story
Thursday 18 June, 2009
Andrea Pirlo has distanced himself from reports which suggested he was looking to join Chelsea this summer.

The Milan midfielder was quoted as saying that he was open to the option of leaving Italy in order to work under Carlo Ancelotti at Stamford Bridge.

However, the Italian international has today officially rejected the notion that he is looking to team up with his former Coach again.

“I have never told anyone anything like the quotes which have been attributed to me,” a note on Milan’s official website states.

Chelsea have been linked with a number of Milan players since Ancelotti left the Italian giants earlier this month.

As well as the playmaker, Gennaro Gattuso and Alexandre Pato have been associated, while Kaka was too until he joined Real Madrid.

Ancelotti has been a massive influence on the career of Pirlo after transforming him from a No 10 into a deep-lying midfielder.

Why the angry smiley?

With the way Pirlo has been playing and Chelsea have been overpaying for players, it will probably be the best if Pirlo won't leave Milan and go to Chelsea.

"Our squad is full of champions. we remind you that we are not coming from a negative season, we finished second on level points with Juventus. For the Italian rules we finished third, but if we were in Germany, England or France, where the goal difference is important, we would be second."

Guess who? :p

Trust me, it hurts more to read this BS if you are a Milan fan than a Juventus fan.

It doesn't hurt to be Reggina fan, Bologna maybe, old memories of their club, but I doubt anyone is alive from Bolognas good old days. So as Seven said, it is a pain in the ass to be an :inter: fan.

Roma's new owner is already negotiating with Baldini who's likely to return there. He already made a contact with a few Real players (Sneijder, Higuain) and some other players (Lugano, Cavani and Sorentino). They also removed Mexes' release clause and he's close to sign a new contract. He already made a conact with hpp and they started talking about the new stadium. Budget for transfer market could be 50mln euors this summer.
