If Mialn sign him than he will be Porto coup, they bought him for around 300,000€ I think and after few months they will sell him for at least €10m. And that's what I call excellent bussines.

Well, Porto have always managed their transfers in this manner.

its nearly as funny as when they say someone is great as they have "italian blood"
Right now you're bumping into something historical.

It all started with Benitto Mussolini, former Italian leader who said: ''The best blood will at some time get into a fool or a mosquito''.

He was reffering to the pureness of the Italian blood.

Inter track Benzema

Sunday 21 June, 2009

Inter have identified Lyon striker Karim Benzema as their No 1 transfer target should Zlatan Ibrahimovic leave this summer.

The Nerazzurri want Ibrahimovic to clarify his future before July 12 so they can start planning for next season.

He continues to be linked with a move to Spain and Real Madrid are apparently ready to make him their next signing.

Today Lyon director of football Bernard Lacombe told French newspaper Progres Benzema could leave this summer.

“He is our player, but no one knows what will happen in the future. A while ago we thought Michael Essien wouldn't leave, but Chelsea presented us with a cheque…” Lacombe said.

However, he identified Manchester United as a more likely destination for Benzema than Inter.

“If United have great finances available after the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo and they want to buy Benzema, what can we do?” Lacombe concluded.

well this certainly puts a damper on the plans of vacating trezeguet now doesn't it? with rumor that rossi is itching for Milan and now benzema is Inter's #1 prospect if zlatan leaves, this certainly puts us in a strange odd man out position.

certainly something we have gotten used to for the past few seasons

Ibra will make sacrifices for Real

Sunday 21 June, 2009

Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is prepared to take a wage cut to join Real Madrid, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.

Los Merengues are keen to make the 27-year-old Sweden international their next signing after Valencia declared they would not be selling David Villa this summer.

Ibrahimovic has openly courted a move to Spain over the last two months and Inter want to know his intentions by July 12 so they plan for next season.

Marca understands Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, was in Madrid this week to discuss the prospect of a transfer with the Real hierarchy.

Yesterday, Il Corriere dello Sport also claimed Inter director of sport Marco Branca was in Spain holding talks with his counterparts at the Bernabéu.

Ibrahimovic is said to be so desperate to move he is willing to slash his annual salary from £10m to £7.5m.

Real are also keen to bring his price down, which has been set at £67m.

They will apparently attempt to do so by offering Klaas-Jan Huntelaar or Rafael Van der Vaart in exchange.

Berlusconi: “We'll see what happens. I was the first to say that Pirlo has to stay, but then they made me look at the accounts.”

Geez, are they really in such financial problems?
