Roma's new owner is already negotiating with Baldini who's likely to return there. He already made a contact with a few Real players (Sneijder, Higuain) and some other players (Lugano, Cavani and Sorentino). They also removed Mexes' release clause and he's close to sign a new contract. He already made a conact with hpp and they started talking about the new stadium. Budget for transfer market could be 50mln euors this summer.
it seems to me that new ownership would be good for Roma. right now i see their squad as a waste of collected talent. perhaps the change in ownership/management would result in a renaissance for the club.

I just love how some folk will say certain WC players are overrated when they join a rival team.
But when don't people here say x player is "overrated"?

A footie player could hop around on only one leg, and someone here will most certainly say he's overrated.

I just read in goal com, that Seria A had braked away for Lega Calcio system? Is this true? and what is exactly Lega Calcio, all the other leagues? Seria will not have its Seria B now?

I'm a bit confused over this, could someone with more knowledge explain please?

You even used it for Clichy :seven:
I don't believe i ever said Clichy was world class. The only current fullback that is world class now is Douglas Maicon in my eyes. Nobody else, i don't use the term loosely.

I did say that Clichy was one of the best in his position, but i never used the term "world class".

Here's a link to the BBC article from April:

And another from Football Economy (this was the first time I'd been on the site).

interesting to see that Cissoko's move to Milan is back on,now since we have been linked heavily with D'Agostino lots of folk are furious as he has had 1 decent season. well Cissoko was playing 3rd division football until recently, could Milan be making a VERY expensive mistake for a 1-season-wonder?
