I'd rather take llorente over a fast forward right now at Juve..
I rarely see players like Llorente who can lead the line so well. Its under appreciated quality, and is very important in the modern game. LLorente also dominates in aerial part due to his 1,95m tally, bullying the opposition with his hold up play and provide a lone striking option to which is more important for the solid midfield line-up of our team. You will see Llorente have far more of an influence on the game then a more technical and pace footballer. LLorente is unpredicatable due to not only his physicality but his intelligent movement, look at United game last season or other Europa league and La liga games

We offered 20 mil for him in the summer and he only scored 2 goals till now this season. He would be the most hated player if he played for us this year. I know the comparison is unfair but if he doesn't improve his form next year it will still be a bad move. BUT on the basis of his previous years i say this is a solid deal if a bit risky. I just hope this isn't our top striker because I really don't rate him. I even prefer Osvaldo for 10 mil € to him.

He scored few this season because he was a substitute at bilbao, he was rarely used because Bielsa wanted to teach him a lesson after his intention to leave bilbao in the summer.. Llorente is a juventino for a long time and he wants to achieve his dream of playing for juve, that's why he had some conflicts with Urrutia (bilbao president) and Bielsa. And we know that isn't the best move in Euskadi (Basque country) to say that you want to leave, cause they are hot tempers

Have you watched any of Bilbao games this season? Or you just read on wikipedia, that he scored only 2 goals?

I have a dream to see at least onese 4-3-3 formation with Licht and Asa in defence Vidal Pirlo Marchisio in midfield, and Vucinic Gio Liorente upfront !!!
Asa at D, and Bonucci on the bench?
I like the 5-3-2 they've been rolling with. Why not keep what's working (except improve w/ a striker like Llorente)?

Vucinic looks weaker this season eventhough I agree he's one of our key players as he's the only one capable of holding the ball. But Giovinco has been as effective as him sos far, so we'll see. Either way, both partnership look damn good IMO, I think we'll bang many goals that way.
effective ? i think we saw that in the previous game

entire game, juve struggeling to get into the game
giovinco, beeing not decisive as ever, when it counts.

vucinic comes on, has a foot in all 3 goals. Sorry, that very game, proved how freaking good vucinic is for this juventus, and why giovinco isnt even close.

Gio is good to kill the small teams/teams that leave lots of space, and counter when we are leading, but dont expect him to be a gamechanger like mirko

yes, because beeing hated by the fans, boo'd of the pitch every time you get subbed in, is a very good atmosphere to score goals.

We've seen it plenty of times. Do you remember against Genoa? Mirko was a real game changer. Giovinco often tends to struggle mostly due to his lack of strength .

Mirko has looked weaker cause he hasn't really been scoring alot. Other than that, hes been beasting it out there. We look MUCH better with him. Gio and his garbage time goals against weak teams have not been as effective. Gio is good, but no way can he step up to Mirko. He gets outmuscled too much.
