yeah but Sandro is a fullback, part of his job is to attack, and at one point he was actually good at it. Last couple of seasons he’s been useless, to the point that even berna presents more of a threat.

You could see by his reaction that he expected Tek to come out, but that is what happens when you have non-defenders in defensive positions, they make judgemental errors.

Pretty sure that was when he was about 5 yards behind our defensive line playing him onside.

If he stepped up like the rest of the defence SMS would have been off. But he is not a defender and needs time to learn these things, his first instinct will have been to try to stop SMS being free.

Good thing that learning to defend proved to be easier than learning to attack. Cuadrado also massively improved.

Its a bit worrying that we’d have 3 defenders who aren’t great headers with Berna, Sandro and Cuadrado. Sandro gets caught quite often with headers.

Deschi can do a decent job as long as it´s not expected of him to make decisions near the opponent´s box.

He´s a player who should give the ball to f.ex Chiesa to do his thing, not be the creator himself. The full back role suits him. Play him as a backup LB till the end of the season and sell.
