Absolute must. Had a decent shift yesterday, but he needs a bit more game time or starts, so he can be among the goals. Another CL goal will be fantastic for his confidence going into the final stretch of the season.

What was so decent about it?


Sucks to be Quag right now. From all our forwards, he's most likely to score, but he's also the worst (by very, very far imo) when it comes to general play. For some reason, he's really out of sync with the rest of the team.

I thought he got involved well, distributed well to the flanks, held the ball up with his back to goal and was fairly mobile. Made some good runs too, which were flagged off, and he wasn't off on one of them either. The chip to Barzagli was pretty sweet too. I thought he linked our play well. Infact, after Gio's sub, you would've noticed Juve went on the offensive again, with Quags arrival, till which time they were soaking up the pressure after conceding one.

Yes, he is the most likely to score because he has a striker's instinct. His awareness to goal is probably the highest of all our forwards which is a good skill to possess. Quag has been the most unfortunate circumstantially, because he gets almost no continuity on this team, seeing how stubborn Conte is with his choices. You can't play with freedom if you're always looking over your shoulder to be subbed. There is bound to be anxiety.

Quag should've had a hattrick... but two goals were cancelled. One offside when he wasn't offside and another one that was cleared over the line but not awarded... and he shot the goal that was blocked but allowed to di natale to score.

so why has his best season in serie a only amounted to 13 goals? 235 games in serie a , 72 goals. Thats about a goal every 222 min. i would say his striker instincts are average

I don't think so, it probably also had to do with the fact that he was playing for arguably the biggest team in his graph. What do most strikers average playing for team's like Samp and Udine? He had 20 plus goals including the urfa cup. Not a bad season for a striker a smaller club like Udinese.

gio got 15 for parma. matri scored 10 for cag. in half a season. quag would only be considered a good striker for a midtable team. there is a clear reason why he was playing for lesser teams for so long, and he continues to prove how average he really is here.

Giovinco and vucinic are wingers so they are not even strikers. Matri is just very mediocare as well as quags and bendtner is not even worth mentioning. The kind of upgrade we need in the attack is the same as we got in our midfield. From choosing who is better between poulsen, tiago, zanetti and aqualiani to standard of marchisio-pirlo-vidal.
