Umm, Napoli's highest salary is 1m euro. Canna is better then all of their defenders, that they dont want to invest him when its not a long term signing, is more about their lack of financial strenght then his capalibities. We can afford it easily, and have him for 1 season. Napoli would to sacrifice a bit of their budget to make the same investment.

Two entirely different scenarios, and I dont get this repetetive mention of "Napoli didnt consider him good enough". Well, Napoli isnt good enough for him, they havent won a single game this year.

Yes, and this means that he's not making a huge sacrifice or that he has huge balls to return to Juve as some make it look.

No team bigger and better than Juve wants him. We're making a bigger favor to him than he does for us.

Fabio Cannavaro never talked shit about Juve and he has alot of respect for Juve and for that I respect him. I know he left in a terrible and dark time but I think we can move on. It's all in the past. Welcome back Fabio and good luck!

First I was against Canna's comeback tbh, because I thought that was unfair to stars that did stay, but after realizing that they (Ale & Gigi especially) are cool with it, happy even, I make peace with it.

Forza Canna!

I still think that Canna will end up at Napoli some day.
He will play one more season to us, in order to restore his name and ensure the NT call.
And by the next x-mas, right after he starts the second season with us and start sucking really bad, he might migrate to Napoli mid-season, with half of the salary he gets now...

Two teams with more money did - Man City and Bayern.

What's weird and worrying is that Cannavaro didn't take a huge paycut so he could play at Napoli. He always said he would play there in this final days..

True, unlike our buddy Thuram who put in a lot more seasons with the team.

I'm totally wondering about that too. Maybe he owes a bookie, or maybe Juve really meant something to him. I know he rooted for Napoli whenever we played them though...

Great addition to our squad in many ways. Ok he betrayed us, but football is business and we just gotta accept it. He is a natural leader who will galvanise and bring back fighting spirit to our locker room. Buffon and many others have said so, the biggest difference he will make will be his influence. Ok he wasnt so hot for madrid, but they still won the league twice and he always played well for the national team. Chiellini and Cannavaro as ourcentrebacks is, for me anyway, as solid as anything that will be going. We need a top class full-back desperately though.
