I won't vote in the poll because there are some conditions that need to be met in order to vote FOR, and other conditions to vote AGAINST.

I'm AGAINST if we have enough money to buy younger but still experienced defender of high quality, while strenghtening some other positions in the meantime.

I'm FOR if we spend all our money on other positions and the choice is Canna or no-one, or Canna or "Knezevic". Of course, i'm talking about signing him on a one year contract, as the reports suggest.
I would agree with that, but I couldn't find any available player, who fits that bill.
Marquez - hardly available
Agger - not proven enough to be the experienced leader in the back
Kjaer - way too young
Vidic, Carvalho, Alex, etc. are not available

I think he is what we need.

The rumor is 1 year + an option on the 2nd and the a managerial role. Lippi would be technical director and Canna would assist the new coach or something.
Sounds great!

That is pretty random. What do we know about Cannavaro's coaching ability? And besides, it's not like he is a Juve legend that would make sense to have in the staff solely based on that merit like Pessotto, Ferrara, etc.
We don't know, but he's an Italian NT legend and would be very well respected by younger players such as Ariaudo. Our defence's late performances have to alarm the board to change the person responsible for defenders' training.

that's exactly what we need...a cultured CB, capable of controlling the backline...a better version of Legro...then we have Ariaudo who looks like a sensational talent IMO
You must have seen much more of him than me:frown:

I haven't seen much of him other than the game against Lazio, I hope you're right!

lol you know how it is...any Primavera kid who makes his debut is immediately a sensational talent :D:D

seriously though, he looked very calm and composed against a very attacking Lazio frontline...would have been a brilliant debut had Manninger not gotten mindfucked :lol2:

I would take him back but we must sign another defender, if this is our clubs master plan to fix the defence they really need a kick up the ass
