You must have seen much more of him than me:frown:

I haven't seen much of him other than the game against Lazio, I hope you're right!

Ahmed usually tends to overrate all of youngsters :p

I don't mind getting cannavaro for free this summer, although Im not sure if he is the real soulution of our backline, he is old and not the player he used to be. I wouldn't mind it as long as we spend some cash on better fullbacks.

Of course it's not the case. We have 500m euro for transfers. FUCK SUCKO for not buying 4 defenders, Diego and 2 more midfielders. Instead of buying Vidic, we'll buy the old Cannavaro. :wallbang:
Just cause we're worth close to 500m euro, doesn't mean we have that money to spend.

Cannavaro is a good deal as long as he doesn't drain our salary budget, ffs, he's free. Whether or not we buy players better than him additionally is not an issue at all because either way he's a step up from both Legro, Mel and Kne-Kne

If canna can keep it cheap, i see him as an ideal player to keep the defense on par with world class standards and with chiellini right by his side, i think we'll be close to if not water tight. This way we can concentrate on bolstering our rb and fixing up our midfield with the right quality depth

We need to sell melberg and knezevic for kjaer/santacroce. This way we'll have the perfect mix of youth --> criscito, kjaer/santacroce, dc, ariaudo
experience --> cannavaro, legrotagglie, zebina/grygera (whomeever doesn't go)
in between --> chiellini

and you get to pick the right back that fits the bill, although this seems a bit extreme for juve's summer standards...in reality i see 1 or 2 defenders going out and 1 or 2 coming in (including canna)

Buffon: "Cannavaro would be useful to Juventus, as he would be for many teams. (...) I know him very well and he's a good friend. Obviously, with him we're not thinking of building a long term project, but even I am not that young anymore."

You can fvck up with milano jurassic park club , Canna .
Having Canna in our starting 11 next season would take us a step closer to being title contenders. There is no doubt we would be better with Chiellini-Cannavaro then we would be with Chiellini and Leggro/Mellberg.

Canna may be 36 but he is in good shape and is a starter for Real Madrid as well as the national team. I dont see the problem in playing him in our back line if he can perform no matter what his age. players like Giggs and Scholes start for Man Utd and improve their team.

As for the fact Cannavaro left us. It is not like he was here for as long as Del Piero and Trezeguet to start with and Juve oculd not afford to keep all the stars anyway. At least he went to Madrid and not Inter or Milan.

Now if we can get a few fullbacks and Diego .. we are a championship squad.

We can't be like that AC Milan team.. Canna is way better than all Milan old players like Favalli, Emerson (fat), or even Vieira (injury prone) in Inter..
He's still play at his best in Madrid, He still has great fitness level
From Capello, Schuster, and Ramos believe in him to play lot of matches in La Liga and Madrid defence looks better than 3 years ago without him.

He would be the best solution for short term and will become a good leader for Chiellini, Criscito, or even Ariaudo (if he's not loaned out)
and AM like Diego plus RB is our priority... Criscito can be our LB and if we still have money left than bring Asamoah (Udinese) to replace Tiago and Poulsen

Why lot of forum members overrate Kjaer so much, i still don't think that Kjaer will become an upgrade than Legro or Mellberg now, the positive way that he is still young but i would prefer Ariaudo instead of him for now
and for Zapata, he's not in form after the injury.. it'll become a gamble to buy him, but if the price is not expensive it will become a good bargain, also i think Zapata is the same type of DC like Chiellini who is more physical than intellegency or leadership
