Funny thing is, if he would sign for Milan, most here would say something like haha cannacunt is joining the retirement home, now when he would sign for us, we say, good, he can teach others.

Nice logic.
it just shows how bad our defence is!!!

I haven't really seen canna play a lot since he turned his back on us after telling us he would stay even if we were demoted to serie c - pure class......

In terms of his ability he's hardly a solution to our problems, we need a long term fix not a short term patch up, however he's prob still an improvement on the current crop of god-awful defenders we have in our collection. He is still a regular starter for italy so he must still be pretty good right?? As i say i havent really seen him much so not sure about this

anyway, about Canna.

- He's free
- A bit old but could bring the experience needed
- Would replace Andrade/Knezevic
- Would have to cut his wages
- Would have to come on his knees an apologize for leaving while the boat was sinking

and f*cking Asamoah scored and it's too late to buy him now right Secco?

I understand your logic in accepting him, even if its bit defeatist kinda thinking, but I REALLY cant understand you would accept this 36 year old average Canna, seriously. Talk about selling us short, yeah our other options suck, doesnt mean we should settle for less still, a young good defender isnt that super expensive, even if the experience and leadership Canna would bring would be useful (but his competence level is so diminished now he would join our merry band of fuck ups).

I mean really, we have to demand for more.

HAHA I love it. Juventus is set to revive his career for a second time! Well, on the bright side he is still better than Iceberg and Legro at 36 years old. At least that will be our brains at the back and we all know we need that! It might not be bad maybe with a one year deal to to teach our damn defense how to defend. Its not like we can afford Vidic or someone of that age and class.

We can't afford long term renovations in all areas I'm afraid, so Cannavaro could get us through to next summer where we can seriously revive the defense completely unless Secco somehow pulls a miracle this summer.

Can you place a poll in this one? Yes/No to Canna?

and Motta with another assist, I wish we had bought him.

I like how C4 put this in the article:

"However, the news has not exactly generated enthusiasm among the Juventus faithful, as several forums are full of comments regarding his age, form and decision to leave."

I wonder which forums they are talking about:)

I understand completely but our board see it like this: Cannavaro=free, Kjaer=12m + Ariaudo on loan...let's get Canna.

It literally is like a formula with them.

I personally was hoping to see Ariaudo with us playing more next season.

    There's nothing wrong with

    Buffon

    Motta/Zuniga-Chiellini-Canna-Criscito

    Sissoko-Marchisio-Hamsik/Asamoah

    Diego-Giovinco

    Amauri

    we'd be 10 times stronger
