It actually is unhealthy. It's getting repetitive, boring and is not funny anymore.
Cronios is not helping himself.
He's a very smart guy and i like him and appreciate him a lot for being himself, for not faking it and for telling it as it is (according to him of course). Ok, the touch of Phrynichus and the other Greek tragedists is visable in his post, but they were all his countrymen so it's forgivable.

But as honest as he is, as well behaved as he is, as much as he adds to the forum with his posts, the fact is that people don't like pessimism, especially not in such quantity as you can find in his posts. Juve is our love and hobby. Juventuz is also a kind of a hobby. Its a way to escape from the everyday problems and relax. That's why people hate it when they read on the net something just as depressing as the everyday life.
Even if the old guard stops with the jokes, i can guarantee you that after a while some of the newbies will start reacting to his posts.
Nothing will change.

I don't even want anything to change. I don't want the Doc to stop writing here and i don't want him to start faking it just so the others won't make jokes. But he has to live with it, vinman has to live with it, Andy has to live with the fact that people don't like pessimism and they fight against it with jokes.

living in london i have a lot of mates who are chelsea fans, and i can tell you they are not happy about drawing juventus, in fact, from what they're saying, i think they think we're a lot better than we actually are

i don't think this is a bad draw, this juventus team has shown that it does well against big teams in big games, we have a fighting spirit, bring on chelsea!!!

We have nothing to lose. For the first time in decades we're considered the under dogs in europe and i honestly believe that italians (clubs or national team) usually do better in tournaments when they're the underdogs. So i'm optimistic about this game.....

Villarreal - Panathinaikos FFS? :groan:

About the Chelsea draw: I'll hold my comments until I've played about a 50 Juve - Chelsea's on PES2009 and compared the strengths :D

PS Buffon vs Cech, dudes :lick:

:pint: Here's to him to give us a gift like he did for Nihat in Euro2008.

If Juve qualifies to the quarters, I'll just hope we play the 2nd leg match at home. This way I can watch this game and our match vs Inter.

Juve stars respect Chelsea

Friday 19 December, 2008

Alessandro Del Piero and Momo Sissoko are expecting Chelsea to give Juventus a serious examination.

The Old Lady have drawn the West London giants in the last 16 of the Champions League.

“It's a difficult draw,” Del Piero asserted. “But at this stage of the competition it's clear that all the teams are decent.

“The thing that distinguishes Chelsea from the others is that they have such an excellent squad.”

Juve tactician Claudio Ranieri is getting ready to face his past and Mali international Sissoko has memories of Stamford Bridge from his time at Liverpool.

“I always follow English football with interest,” Sissoko revealed.

“I think this will be a very tough fixture and we will need to be prepare well.

“Chelsea aren't having the best of times, but they have great players. It will be a close game if both teams are at their best.”

:disagree: they will re-emerge, they were good vs barca, big teams like them will always come good out of a crisis, like us. Without torres liverpool's chances wouldn't look good, kuyt sometimes scores and gerrard scores the ocassional cracker, but in such a game it can come right down to the CF's and I don't see robbie K raping madrid, who have more suprises up their sleeves and a wealth of options to choose from.
Madrid still have to play the second leg at Anfield. If they don't win by at least 2 in Madrid that's it. We play teams every year in the Champions League that have a "wealth of attacking" options, we put Barca out 2 years ago with less attacking options (Bellamy and Crouch) than we have this season. So why should we be worried about Madrid? In my opinion, Ryan Babel will play a huge role.

Which Chelsea player intimidates you the most, guys?

I personally pray that Essien doesn't play. Terry-less Chelsea would be a God's gift as well. And Anelka over Drogba please. Others we can manage..

the winter break will give teams like Real time to change. Liverpool will be playing alot of games and will be tired by the time the CL starts again. Madrid have pretty much got Diarra and have signed Huntelaar hahah by the time the game comesthey will have a totally different starting 11.

It is really hard to say what teams will be in form in in February.
Won't Huntelaar be cup tied?

C.Ronaldo doesn't choke against Mickey Mouse teams. He only chokes against top teams.
I don't know why do you expect him to choke against Inter
