Ah ya of course i agree. I just wanted to know in what context you were saying those players are better than him. In that case i definitely agree that the mentioned players are better than him, with the exception of Higuain of course.
Personally I prefer Higuain, I like my Strikers who have the ability to make something out of nothing, you look at Higuains goals this season and look at some of Rooneys and Higuain is technically the better Striker, I would take Higuain over Rooney in my team. Plus he's 3 years younger.

I do very much. If I had a choice of a World Eleven then he certainly would not be in the team. However out of our current crop of Strikers I like him the most.
Some people have no middle ground. I've defended Rooney a lot here, but the forum has moved from completely underrating Rooney to completely overrating him.
His form over the past 5-6 weeks is indeed a level above the rest of the Premiership, but he is in no way "much better" than Drogba or Fabregas this season. All 3 of those have been the best players in the Prem this year.

Rooney has been horribly overrated on this page just a few posts above.
Who here honestly thinks that Rooney will carry United to the Premiership and CL title? He hasn't even won anything as a 'one man team' FFS. And people say he's perfecting the game better than Ronaldo.
Rooney has been overrated by one or two in the last couple of pages whereas he's been woefully underrated by many other in the last couple of years. He's nowhere near Ronaldo or Messi but he's more or less of the same level of the likes of Torres, Drogba, Ibrahimovic and Villa and he's having a much better season than all of them except for Drogba.
maradona is a horrible coach, but i love the guy i dont care what he does he will always be the man. And i really do believe carlitos is better than rooney
i was checking if you could resist, but i can make the argument rooney has yet to prove himself in a foreign league. And admittedly i have watched tevez a lot more than rooney so maybe thats why i personally would prefer him.
