Doesn't change the fact to be honest. You say Rooney is being overrated by English people and media and I say that if Real or Barca spend around 100M for him, it means that people out of England too believe that he's an extremely invaluable player.
But nowadays, it's more like paying a premium for the inflated market. You're not really paying for how much Rooney is worth, but rather paying ManUre to release the player into a market that is already pricing in inflation.

Don't quite think that makes any sense. If Real pays 100M for the clown that would still make him overrated.

And Rooney said he doesn't want to leave England anyway.

I hope he stays in England and dies in a car accident.
I can understand, easily, others taking exception to my patriotic squealing...but, I was mainly focused on the Premiership when I wrote that. Whilst I do see him as one of the very best players in the world, i cannot say that nobody else IN THE WORLD comes close to him...in the premiership, presently, he is far above any other player creating and scoring. So that is that sorted out...I should have made it clearer.

However, what you have written teeth, is yet another example of why i despise you so much. You actually have no regard for appearing to be a prize cunt. Which confirms, what I have suspected for a long time...that is...you are a prize cunt. Who is brimming with love for a self which is more eager to be recognized as some kind of powerful ego, than to be decent, to grow, to debate with objectivity, to show passion, solidarity...in short, your comment has created serious hatred. Towards you...but this will only fan the flames of your desire for me in your arms, even higher, I know this, so should stop soon.

So in response...all I can say, is that i hope one day you get the chance to say that to his face. Before he removes your eyes from their sockets with a spoon, then ties them onto a necklace he will wear thereafter with dignity and pride...

I used to hate his guts, but I love his style of play, too much I must say. The pure definition of the striker that I would love to have in my team. Defends and Attack at the same time, resists on the fields, hardworker, can play in two more positions and isn't into pony, he does what is necessary on the field.
he is the perfect attacker. Who can play in several positions...His passing, shooting, determination, strength are ALL world class. This is what makes him stand out, especially in the premiership where most of the finest players are one dimensional...Like Torres, who is a world class finisher. gerrard can change roles, but other than him, and rooney, I don't know of many players who can show as much true class in so many areas of the game. Again, i am referring to the premiership...

I dont watch spanish football. Its too poncey and whiney for my liking. And as for Ronaldo, of course, talent wise, he is amongst the best, but his character and associated comportment, show a distinct lack of class as a man, and for this reason, he will never be one of the true greats...give me cantona...zidane...baggio...cruyffy...Gullit...but never Ronaldo, unless we are talking about the fat brazillian ronaldo, and of 5/6 years back...when he was almost unstoppable.

I don't think that is likely. Ronaldo is a monster of a player, and imo he has always been better than Kaka.
CR is a monster of a player and he is a better player than Kaka. What I meant was that I expect a Kaka explosion (lol, this didn't sound as I expected) in the most important matches, which doesn't mean that Ronaldo won't have his part on those matches.

I won't say "far" when there is a guy in Chelsea with 17 goals and 8 assists on 20 matches. 17+8=25 on 20. Rooney has 21 goals and 4 assists on 25 matches, which is 25 on 25.

So, statistically Drogba scores and assists just as much as Rooney, and more than Rooney on average.
I'll admit that as almost an one man team and for his unbelievable work rate Rooney could be a little above Drogba this year (although, Drogba is also a hard worker), but not "far".

Its attitude and manliness which set him far apart from drogba, for me, mate...Drogba, when happy is outstanding, and a handful for ANy defence...but when less than feeling pretty and adored, he is an irritating, whiney bitch, who falls over horribly easily. Rooney is superior in those areas. As well as a better passer, and playing for a considerably less solid team.

Whether I am smoking weed, or drenched with vodka, a Cunt remains a Cunt to me...I don't fuck about with poisons which change my perceptions of people so vividly and drastically that I could suddenly adore a creature I normally despise. My core must remain the same...only my output becomes more emotive or more cerebrally rooted and delivered. This is why I have always steered clear of pills.

Rooney is currently the best player in the world. Considering his age, he would definitely be worth way more than Kaka and even more than Ibra.
As gutter pointed out, He is currently perfecting every aspect of the game even better than Messi and Ronaldo. If he continues uninjured i am willing to bet on him surpassing Ronaldo's best season at Manu, bearing in mind the quality of the utd squad back then was higher than now + all the injuries they are now suffering.
Rooney is currently a one man army and UTD are entirely dependent on him. Drogba is not far behind but he is supported by arguably the strongest midfield in the world and plays next to last season's top scorer. On the other hand, rooney plays next to berbaflop and is surrounded by arguably above average players at most + the clumsy defense that has only evra from the starting 4.

Kaka was never a one man army like Rooney is now as Milan's squad was always amazing and kaka was the secret component for 1 or 2 seasons max.

The sloppy serie a that kaka was able to overcome only once in his carreer was always dominated by another 1 man army that was ibrahimovic.
If anyone is being overrated.. its Kaka. Ibra proved year after year that he is way more influential in the sloppy serie a while Kaka was under performing even though surrounded by a much better squad than Ibra.

In short, Rooney> Drogba (taking into account that this is drogba's best season ever) and rooney has all his career ahead of him.

Kaka is overrated in comparison to ibra.

Comical, especially in comparing Rooney to the MIDFIELDER Ronaldo and saying he will surpass his top season in Manchester. But I'm not surprised.
Regardless of how you classify Ronaldo, positionally speaking, he is a totally offensive-orientated player, who while far more comfortable on the flank than rooney, nonetheless occupies similar channels and responsibilities when he plays. As in Key Creator, Key goalscorer. So if his main game is creating and scoring, and rooney's main game is creating and scoring...obviously, to those with more than solely an ego to work with, by that I mean a mind capable of objectivity, the comparison is fair.

Comical to a retard, but sensible to an able minded human...

Ah, perhaps. Kaka is indeed more of a big game player than Ronaldo, though to be completely fair to Ronaldo, Kaka hasn't shown that at Real Madrid. He didn't play against Valencia away, but he played against Sevilla and Barcelona, and he played against his former club Milan twice. Out of those 4 games, Kaka had a brilliant game against Barcelona, was mediocre against Milan twice and he was horrid at Sevilla.

I'm willing to give him the six month adapting period. Admittedly Kaka has been really good for Real ever since the return from the break.
