To join now, or at the end of the season?
"El futuro del entrenador catalán, que el lunes llegará a Barcelona para pasar las fiestas navideñas con su familia, no está todavía decidido cuando abandone el Bayern. Tiene una oferta permanente del Chelsea, prácticamente un cheque en blanco, activada desde que este jueves Abramovich despidió a Mourinho."

So yeah, it certainly wouldn't be now. Most likely at the end of the season.

A spanish news report (El País) "guarantees" Pepe will announce he's leaving Bayern on Monday. And that Abramosomethingvich offered an "open cheque" for him to join Chelsea.
Predictable.

I wonder if he'll succeed in England with his playing style
They'll certainly eat it up for a while.

Hopefully it disrupts Bayern a little.

He will now that Stoke have softened up their approach so that playing away to stoke on a cold, wet Wednesday in January is no longer the ultimate test of whether fancy football can succeed.

Indeed. I wonder why he would announce he's leaving so early in the season. Doesn't seem like a good idea
It certainly worked out horribly for Bayern the season they announced in January that Guardiola would join them and replace Heynckes in the summer.

Because Bayern are pressing for an extension now but he doesn't want to extend.Bayern probably want their answer now so there's that I guess.

Remember they announced Guardiola appointment back then in January too.

Bayern have a really strong management. They know what they are doing.

He did the same when he left Barca (and also he joined Bayern in similar fashion). Weird timing indeed, but seems like someone who wanna plan ahead and tell his plans early to his employers.

I don't get it, why did chelsea players suddenly hate mourinho? is it because of that female medic staff? did she give them blowjob after matches or what  this is the 1st time I ever heard a team held a grudge against their manager because of medical staffs being fired :shifty:
