Thought so, still don't get it why he should he cover his face.
Rumor has it that he was crying, i also read that he refused to take the 50m compensation, no idea how much truth's in this. :boh:

If Simeone goes to Chelsea this is pretty much the end of the world as we know it @Osman :D

I pretty much doubt someone would refuse 50mln pounds. :D

But anyway, don't such clauses apply only until he finds a new job?

If Simeone goes to Chelsea this is pretty much the end of the world as we know it @Osman :D But it would be fun watch him dominate EPL morons
Simeone that can keep his best players and sign whichever top warrior class player he likes will be insane to stop on consistent basis. CL will have another constant pain in the ass team. His system is just so damn near perfect, when he doesn't need to reinvent it for losing key players every year.

But doubt he will go to Chelsea or England. Money is only reason, the guy strikes me as a simple man out for comfort, he doesn't speak English, will be odd seeing him coach non Latin team.

Also something that makes my dream of seeing him in Juve unlikely, he has repeated affection and preference for his past clubs (why he is in Atletico). Says so often, talked about Lazio alot, Inter a little, and I think he will coach Argentina sometime before next world Cup.

But him in EPL would be fun, will destroy a league that has little clue about tactics.

I don't see Simeone going to Chelsea, I also don't think he will be the type of coach they want. They are stupid, they want a lot of goals and pretty football. They will get some stop gap for a year, hiddink?

That's not what Chelsea is like at all imo. The other EPL top clubs yes (why Man U fans crying more about boring style rather then results right now) but not Chelsea. Their attitude is shaped by two defining Mourinho eras, Ancelotti and a Di Matteo that gave them glory with ultra defensive countering football (Jose style). Rest of their coaches been Ranieri, Benitez, Scolari and Grant. Non are coaches you could say played champagne football (closest was Ancelotti, and he was real savvy, not gunho) Only brief period of naive hyped football was Villa Boas, the utter dumbass was worst by far.

This is a fan base that has grown accustomed to getting results with balanced organised football. Their worshipped hero Mourinho gave them 3 league titles with generally conservative (negative in CL) football. They rarely complain and Roman has not been an owner that speaks out about anything, let alone more attacking football.
