that would be the game vs Artmedia + 5 Serie A games + 2 CL games(didn't check though).

No biggie vs Artmedia, Fiorentina-Udinese-Cagliari-Catania-Sampdoria(8pts MIN), let's wait and see who we'll play in the CL.

How is the french leage looking for good defenders at the moment? They usually adapt pretty well to the italian style of play and my knowledge of that league is poor at best
so-so...

Cris is getting old and was injured last year. He's a risk.
Basa is not good enough and I think he left Le Mans.
J. Rodriguez not good enough.

and you have some prospect like

Sakho, didn't see a lot of him but I'm sure he's not ready yet. He's like 18.

as you can see...no options from La Ligue.

last injury he got they said the same as today(45/60 days) and was playing after 30. I don't want them to rush him back.

Juve really have to concentrate on not rushing Giorgio back. Even if the first few results don't go as planned. Pool made the mistake of hurrying Agger last season and he was reinjured and lost for the entire year.

Yeah, we had a similar problem with Camoranesi.
I think we rushed Camo back three times in a row and everytime he was rushed back he was reinjured.
Then we finally didn't rush him back and he's ok ever since.

Poulsen might a short term solution if Legro and company are terrible. I think you guys will be ok, though the Fiorentina match may be a beat down you guys repay later in the season. Then again one of the back ups could play well and Juve will have found another reliable defender.

Chiellini’s cruciate relief Monday 18 August, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus can breathe a sigh of relief as tests have revealed that Giorgio Chiellini hasn’t damaged his cruciate ligament.

The Azzurri defender was injured in a collision with Milan’s Alberto Paloschi during last night’s Trofeo Berlusconi.

There had been fears that Chiellini could be out for between three and six months with a torn cruciate ligament in his knee.

However, Juventus’ medical team have investigated and have ruled out cruciate ligament damage.

Chiellini could be back in action by the end of September and has expressed his relief.

“I have had a great weight lifted off my shoulders,” he said. “During the pain yesterday I was scared that my season could be over.

“I was most worried that the cruciate was involved. Now I will train on my own for a month, but I am happy because I won’t miss many games before I am back at the end of September.”

Well at least he didn't have a problem like Andrade. I almost forgot Andrade was still on the team until he injured himself again. Is there someway we could recall Criscito before then end of the transfer campaign?

So do we:

a.)Buy ivanovic
b.)Buy zapata
c.)Cash in on diego.
D.)Or just be as is and pray for a miracle until chiellini comes back?

How realistic is any one of these?

Thats very true. Exactly what I thought of. I really hope we dont rush Chiellini back like we did with Mauro.
