Considerably less riskier than the Ronaldo deal or even the Higuain one though.
Of course, no doubt about that.

Although I didn't call those deals risky.
Those were downright retarded deals.

Just the fact that we are actually filling a hole that needs to be filled in the middle of the season is what makes it impressive.
And I also do agree with this. Clearly something had to happen right now.

I agree, he's not at Haaland's level. But he's not HALF the player of Haaland. Also, Vlahovic hasn't played in CL to perform there yet.
But he's played good Serie A opposition. The point is Haaland was killing it against anybody in fuckining Salzburg. Vlahovic hasn't done anything even remotely similar.

Lol excuse me for not jumping on the bandwagon. All I heard was "sustainability" for 5 months and then signing someone with 30m a year cost. I was hoping for more of a Beppe-like management not impulse.
I wouldn't call it impulse. The rationale behind this move is that he'll help us secure a CL spot and avoid further revenue loss. It is risky however... If we don't make CL we'll be in a deep hole.

Half of Europe was arsenal, Spurs and who else?
Atletico who almost signed him last Summer. He was also strongly linked to City and a bit with BVB as Haaland's replacement.

Then you have Bayern who still Have Lewandowski but who knows how long he will stay there/they want to keep him.

Definitely he attracted a lot of interest from big clubs.
