Awesome signing. I take every bit of criticism towards this management back. They’ve signed, quite easily, the most in demand striker in the world after Mbappe and Halland. This goes a long way towards fixing the issues upfront. I don’t think creating chances has ever been an issue. It’s finishing them. ( Ronaldo scored his goals with essentially the same midfield).

Now, please don’t clean house in the summer to make up for this transfer..and don’t sell De Ligt!

He's been a top striker for 1.5 seasons now and was going to get paid so him becoming one of our top earners isn't insane to think. Especially since in 4 years at 25 he'll be making 7m and a fully established striker hopefully. That pales in comparison to say Haaland who is rumored to be asking 15m NET or Mbappe or Neymar.
That comparison with Haaland is also strange. Haaland performs at the highest level in CL too, whereas Vlahovic hasn't scored a goal against a top 5 team except Milan this season.

We paid him one year worth of Viola revenue. Why would he care?

One out of many, and arguably not the most urgent one.
So these are the same terms for Arsenal he could even asked more and it is already so late in the transfer window.

I agree, he's not at Haaland's level. But he's not HALF the player of Haaland. Also, Vlahovic hasn't played in CL to perform there yet.

I don't get the impressiveness of this thing. We pretty much met the asking price and made him one of the highest earners in the team at the age of 21.
I'm hoping he succeeds but this is indeed a very risky business
half of europe wanted the guy, and very few teams let starters, let alone best players go mid-season.

partly agreed on the risks, then again "half of europe wanted the guy", so we can always sell him. even though i'd have preferred to see bini&bene not overpay and have commisso bend over, i get that he was a sought after property. anyway, we'll see how reality meets expectations. in case of chiesa, at arrival many said he was overpriced, half a season after his arrival many of us said that he was the bargain of the decade, after his injury some suggested we shouldn't even take the option. honestly i can't wait to see vlahovic scoring and put all of our doubts to rest.

Well I thought we would do this move considering we dont really have a choice if we want top 4 but isnt it too early to celebrate? There are no medicals yet..
This summer I think we will try for Pogba but if we dont reach top 4 we have 0 chance while Pogba`s wages might conflict with our "new policy".
So in the end we will probably get Zakaria and still have no creative player to create chances..
