if he does, he is hiding it pretty well



what may be confusing you is that, iirc, Tyson has spoken in support of teaching ID in schools or rather the problems with ID as, by not doing so, he believes society remains vulnerable to the pitfalls, shortcomings and misconceptions being put forward by ID. Other than that, he himself believes ID is a "philosophy of ignorance" and hampers scientific development.
