honestly, i prefer sissoko putting pressure on the opponent while he builds up play rather than him waiting for someone to get into his way. Sissoko is fabulous at tackling and runs like a madman, why would anyone want to not profit from this. I mean, it
might work with diego up front, but the fact that we're winning lately (against teams like real) should be more than enough to prove that what we're doing is working.
Of course we could play one DM, but then we'll be stuck eternally to a 4-4-2 diamond, and what are we going to do with poulsen then? He could be benched if it were me to decide, but still, i don't think he was brought in as a backup to sissoko. And in a 4-4-2 diamond,
we'll hardly see camo and nedved cutting into the middle...
I don't see all the need for change everyone is expecting.
Still, i'll give you that Diego is a wonderful player. Rather than trying to 'teach' camo and nedved what to do, why not make diego play more as a CM-regista? That's what i would do. Him playing just in between camo and nedved, with sissoko and poulsen covering his back - a 4-5-1 which is VERY versatile, and allows both fast counterattacks as well as build-ups by midfield-domination.
Let's give them Tiago plus those 10millions we get from the CL-participation

that would be a deal i could live with
