Alessia also said they didn't need to buy "great" players because they already had some so they just needed to fill some spots with "good" ones.

Secco: "atm Diego doesn't interest us for tactical reasons. His entourage are going to every big club to place him."
oh dear, its Van Der Vaart all over again!
'He's too attacking for a midfielder to be succesful in Serie A'

    Juve still after Diego

    Tuesday 4 November, 2008
    ---------------------------------
Juventus are still working on bringing Werder Bremen fantasista Diego to Turin after 18 months of speculation.

The 23-year-old Brazilian has been repeatedly linked with the Bianconeri since they returned to Serie A last season.

Diego's father, who is also his agent, was in Turin only last week, although Juventus director general Jean-Claude Blanc denied any talks had taken place.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus want Diego in January and are willing to use Portuguese midfielder Tiago as a bargaining chip.

Bremen have valued the former Porto and Santos youngster at £24m, but are prepared to negotiate at £16m.

The figure is still too high for Juventus who are still reeling financially after the effects of Calciopoli two years ago.

The inclusion of Tiago in any deal would bring that price down, especially since his value has increased somewhat in recent weeks after two exceptional performances in Bianconero.

Tiago yesterday said he is ready to leave the Turin giants unless he starts getting regular opportunities in the first team.

The former Chelsea midfielder has made just two starts in Juventus' opening 10 games in Serie A this season.

Meanwhile, Diego has made seven appearances for Bremen in this year's Bundesliga and scored five goals.

The news is doing the rounds way too early. Lets hope this isnt another Xabi drama and Secco can actually make this happen. Even though it's well out of his league. Tiago + cash for Diego works for me.

Oh man, Juve signing Diego, i love the idea of a Diego - Giovinco link up. Suddenly the midfield would just be the the most promising one in Europe with the potential to be great for a long, long time to come.

But whatever. Fuck Secco. Forza Moggi. :D

Boys of course we are after him, big time..
Why would his agent/father be with us last week? For Italian espresso?
And do you think they will reveal what is happening at the moment? Do you really think than Secco is that stupid?

Im sure we are after Diego and few other players.

But I would also love LB, and RB as well.

Tuttosport said he'll come in january. Knowing he's cup-tied it wold be difficult for me to accept that.
maybe thats the only change to get him because teams like real and co wati till the summer... and i don't care if he is cuo tied or not... i don't see us winning the cl anyway
