I dare say that we could use a top quality full back ahead of a CB. Preferably one who could play well on both flanks and who's not just solid, but rather one who offers a lot in attack too.

Just look at players like Maicon, Evra and Clichy to see how much a great full back can do for the team.

at RB I only see 2 that could be available: Eboué and Rafinha but both are cup-tied.

Fullback in January (because we won't buy a CB...yet again I also doubt we're going to buy a fullback but oh well) and CB after the end of season.

But next season we need both changed whoever we buy now.

We should have gone for Zabaleta. He's done very well at Manchester City.

I am not sure about the qualifiers, but playing in the UEFA cup prevents you from playing in the CL.

Rafinha played the second leg of the qualifiers. He was a sub if I am not mistaken.

actually our back four sucks (apart from Chiellini) but as shaky as they seem they still manage to prevent the ball out of the net so maybe the big change should come in the summer instead

one defender will be good enough for now

No but he is not great eigther
he seems as a good defender but is also very slow
he could play in this year`s Juve and next year but if we want to strength our squad in the long run a defender like him should be a sub as we should look to good defenders as subs and great ones as starters

for this moment Grygera and Molinaro should be replaced as non of them is good enough Legro is good for now and Chiellini is one of the best defenders in the world
I don`t know how good Zebina will be when he returns after a long injury and De Ceglie is talented but I am not sure he is ready yet

in any case lets say Legro or Chiellini gets injured then we are left with Mellberg who is nothing more than average and Knezevic who shouldn`t have been bought in the first place and that`s bad
De Ceglie should get some playing time to be ready and we need to invest in the other positions

our mid is problematic as we have Nedved Sissoko Tiago/Poulsen/Marchisio Camoranesi

Diego is being linked and it is good but right now Camoranesi is the only one creative on a regular base
Nedved did get some good matches but he is not the golden ball Nedved anymore

I think with our current squad our mid should be Giovinco Nedved Sissoko Camoranesi
I think it would produce the best results

There aren't much better defenders than the current Legro. He has done no wrong so far, even outperforimng Chiello at times. Getting someone to take Legro's spot isn't really necessary, as much as I'd like to see Zapata play for us. The problem is, when one of Chiellini or Legrottaglie is unavailable, how poor we are at the back. What we really need is better depth in that area.

Well today i read that Juve is interested in Diego and that they started negotiations and that Juves plan is to sell Tiago (to Benfica probably) and use the money to buy Diego. All in all, we can only wait and pray that Diego will come in Juve!
