Ok, let's say we're not using him right, and he has to run a little more than he is used to, but how does that explain the ball bouncing off him like he's a tree and not a pro-footballer, every time?
I don't know, maybe he's been working too closely with Iaquinta :D

Seriously though, Trez has never been great technically (below average even for a player of a big team), yet that has never stopped him from banging in the goals.

It's probably frustrating not receiving a single ball for 90 minutes, that's why he's tracking back.
This probably the best post I've read all month. Thank you. It needed to be said and I'm surprised it took this long to say it. That one sentence says a book in my opinion.

If a club wants to utilize a player like trez then the club needs to be able to supply him the kind of ball he needs to thrive. Why is that so hard to understand.

Enough with this old trez new trez bull shit. He has missed golden opportunities he's whole life, the only difference is he was given many more chances in the past than he does now....ESPECIALLY when he is a loan striker. He can be man marked or even double marked in some cases.

And yes Byrone, at barca he would score a lot. I agree with that assessment.

But we need to be clear on something, Trez is rusty, he is off-form, but you have to be an utter idiot(hint, hint) to judge him after two operations and barely two fulll games in a row played. Yet, he still managed to score 3 goals, just one shy of Iaquinta who is our top scorer. It's sad but it tells enough what this guy can do. We just need to fix problems behind him, his goals will come back.

I want to see Giovinco play DP's position for one game. Trez isn't a creator and doesn't run at players so he's highly dependent on good service. Something he will never get from Amauri or Iaquinta.

You can't expect a guy to be his optimal best, when the entire team is still struggling to do the exact same thing. A striker, cannot and will not function if the midfield behind him is not supporting him the way it is expected to. It is completely unjustified to expect someone, even of Trezeguet's capabilities to be creating goals, when he isnt even recieving the ball. Granted, that he may be making an error of judgement, on the odd occasion, but that is only a function of continuity. Like, I've said before, players like King David need a decent run in to find their rhythmn, because when they do, the half chances are fully consolidated.

Look, if Trez isn't scoring then yes, he is hurting the team cuz it's like playing with 10 men. But if the team is playing good, then it's like playing with 12 men cuz Trez will be all over the penalty box. The problem is, when is Trez going to have that impact on the team again?
wow, i haven't heard this kind of assessment before. well done, sherlock

Two goals away from Sivori now. I wish he'd hit a richer streak, we could use the goals.

I guess Amauri will be starting for a while, so I hope Daviii will take advantage of his chances when he gets them. :cap:

No, seriously, I'll be good, and shut the fuck up for a while. But between me and you, we know that Giovinco cross shoulda been in.

But :mute:
If I were I would shut the fuck up too :agree:

This particular goal was amazing, I had tears in my eyes, seriously :D

It is great to see him score, and even greater to see Amauri on fire, now if Iaquinta goes back to his form it will be even greater.
