Did you just compare a GK with an out-field player?
In real Total Football, the goalkeeper is required to step up out of his goal and act like a sweeper and actually take part in the game.

You're fuckin with me, aren't you? :D
To some extent.

However, I see no problem with having player a player or two who do almost nothing except one very specific task.

Even when Trez was in his prime, there were games I would have left him out of because of his poor workrate. However, I would always have a pure poacher in my squad, even if I wouldn't always have one in the team.

When we come to playing at home to weaker teams and have to work with limited space and few chances, give me Trez over Iaquinta or Amauri any day.

Away from home in difficult games when hard work is needed and there is space to be exploited, I'll choose Amauri or Iaquinta.

Given how little football Trez has played since his injury, I can't understand why folk grudge him a place in the squad and the chance to prove he can still score goals.

And what I said about the keeper being expected to get involved in Total Football is true.

Having a Drogba would be perfect, great finisher and high work rate.

I never liked poachers tbh.
You wouldn't even have one in the squad?

I don't consider Drogba a great finisher. Brilliant player, but not a brilliant finisher.

Why don't you change your sig to say 'Poachers are a liability' instead of Trez, given that it that type of player in general you seem to have a problem with?

No, not at all. I don't mind having pure finishers in the squad, I can and have enjoyed Batistutas, Vieris and Inzaghis (yes, and Trezeguets), but not when they're washed up like Trez is right now.

i'm glad someone finally called that lazy bastard out
Yeah. I mean, when's the last time you've seen Buffon try to help the team score a goal?

Sure, he's in there all celebrating when Trezeguet scores. But where is his lazy ass during the build-up?
