Just a question. Is it wrong to criticize Trezeguet?I don't see anything wrong with what Nick17 said.If a player is off form, you put him on the bench and give someone else a chance to shine.

Trezeguet is not untouchable.Yeah we all love him,but everytime some says a word against people like Trezeguet or Del Piero, and we have that poster castigated, which isnt exactly cool.
no its not wrong to criticize him at all

but a judgement on pre-season form isn't really a thorough litmus test on who should be on the bench. most players need to play more to regain that rhythm

also DP is "untouchable" around here, david is not measured on the same scale as alex here. david receives more unwarranted shots and criticism than any of our other star players (DP, buffon, camo)

Dude, when was DP ever this useless? Or shall I say harmful to the team?
The start of our first season back in Serie A.

He was in and out of the team and was absolutely dreadful.

Then, after a terrible start to the season, he went on to be top scorer.

The permanent class shit doesn't apply here, it's a Sheva case.
so what??? he has fogotten how to score or how to be in the right position???

i don't say that we should keep him if he is like this all the time but we owe him one or half a year here giving him some chances. if in the end there are only performances like the one today, then yes, he should go...

are you wearing your Del Piero crotchless panties? your posts aren't nearly as potent as they are when you don't have them on while posting

how can you say it is sheva case, the season haven't even began and you say he can't do anything for the team. I am sure that once he scores his 1 first goal, many more will come

Huge difference mate, Sheva went from one league to another where he just couldn't function there (same with henry, bergkamp in serie A). Lost he's confidence, form and the rest was history.

Trezeguet is still playing with Juve in the same league where he's scored 131 goals up untill know. Can't think of many strikers that had similar goal/appearance ratio. He was probably one of the most consistant goal scorers in the league for the past 10 years.

All the talk this summer about selling him or not had affected him and he's self confidence. He needs time to recover he's confidence and ferrara is doing the right thing playing him out there IMO.

The club's BOD have been acting unprofessional for some time now. You never say to a player that you don't want them unless there is a real offer on table. Going on public and saying that players like Trezeguet and Poulsen are not in the club's plans and then keeping them is just stupid + Dump.
