Interview with Trez in today's La Stampa. A few points:

* All things considered he is happy he stayed. His decision to stay was influenced by the teammates, Ciro & the club in general.
* When asked which team was closest to sign him he doesn't give a real answer. He admits being flattered by Milan's interest but says he would have never signed with them because it would be a lack of respect.
* This season there are no more alibies not to win anything, although Inter are still strong favourites.
* As a coach, Ferrara reminds him of Lippi.
* Has his eyes set on doing better than Sivori

An almost perfect mercato, given that we retained Trezegol. Marred only be average fullbacks and the untoward sale of Christiano Zanetti. Having said that, between Tiago, Gio, Diego, we do have some scintillating football to be played in the middle of the park - with some super service for the likes of David.

The good thing is, Trezeguet scored in the Team A Vs B a couple of days ago ;) . He is no virgin any more :p .. Could this be the defloration of our goal machine :D

Amauri should be in the starting 11 not Trez, Trez has had 3 games on the bounce now and failed to impress in each.
comments like this really makes it seem like you just started following juventus. first you make the comment that amauri is leagues better than david and now this. seriously, they are 2 different players with their own specialties.

its like your comparing a sniper rifle with a pistol. yes, they are both fire arms but they both have their own special uses and applications.

also, please don't bother to reply and tell me that you have been following juventus since 1897 and you know more than me or anyone else. thats not what this is about. just don't make blanket ignorant statements

Sorry for not being a true fan. How many times have you been to watch Juventus live?. Quiet then. My statement was on current form, not on past.

of course you didn't read my post

i wasn't questioning you patronage to the club but apparently thats what you gathered from my post.

and obviously you don't consider that david was injured and missed the majority of last season. if amauri's form wasn't better than someone who was sidelined for all last season then it would raise concern on amauri not on david

think before you post more nonsense

Just a question. Is it wrong to criticize Trezeguet?I don't see anything wrong with what Nick17 said.If a player is off form, you put him on the bench and give someone else a chance to shine.

Trezeguet is not untouchable.Yeah we all love him,but everytime some says a word against people like Trezeguet or Del Piero, and we have that poster castigated, which isnt exactly cool.
