Trezegol Still Doubts Euro 2008 Call-Up
Juventus goal-machine David Trezeguet believes that his chances of going to Euro 2008 are still slim, despite his late call-up for tomorrow’s friendly against Spain.
Trezeguet has some well known personal differences with Les Bleus coach Raymond Domenech, and had been frozen out of the national set-up for almost seven months.
However he received a surprise late call-up for tomorrow’s match at the Stade de France when Lyon star Karim Benzema withdrew due to injury.
“Even if this is the last game before the squad of 23 for Euro 2008 is announced, I don’t feel that I have to play a big game against England,” Trezeguet stated.
“Whether or not I am on that list or not doesn’t just depend on this game. Domenech has been building his squad for a while and he has a team in his head, which I have to accept.
“As far as I am concerned, I am always available for the national side. In these months that I have been left out, I haven’t said anything else.
“People try to make me react to the Coach’s choices, but my only response has been on the pitch, in my displays for my club.”
Trezeguet is having a prolific season for Juventus, and is the joint top-scorer in Serie A with 17 goals, only one of them a penalty, from just 28 appearances.

i think this article raises the fact of anelka possibly having a thing for trezeguet and wanting to make capello jealous or for him to watch on of those and that domenech's retard rating is no 999999999999999999/10
that article is just complete BS. Trez should not have gone when domenech called. It's clear that the tactics were not build for trez, and it was pretty clear that trez could not shine really. I didn't see the game, can't comment on that but it's a shame really how our trez is treated. I wonder why trez went back to domenech.... it shows his determination but if i were in position of trez, i couldn't but spit in that retard domenech's face... honestly, i really hope trez does not play at euro, and they get kicked out as soon as possible
LOL, what crap, Trez has 34 goals for the NT while Henry, who has lots more caps, has only 10 more. I'm not berating Henry or making comparisons about the two's abilities, but so much for Trez not offering anything to the NT. The only problem is Domenech, his retarded head and his system he deploys on the pitch. The fact he played Thuram over Mexes says enough about the man's sanity, really.
