But I'm really disapointed with....no, not Trez, of course, but with most users here and their player ratings. The use of the word "invisible" sickens me TBH. Everyone knows what type of player Trez is, how he plays and what he does best. In the last games he barely ever recieved a useful ball. Apart the match against Napoli, I can't blame anything else on him, in the Napoli game he really played under-par. He's not getting service and that's what makes him "invisible". Out of all the players on the pitch he's the one who's most dependable on the team and if he fails, then the team failed. If you want him to be everywhere and try and build up play than forget about him being at the right place, at the right time, when that ball finally reaches him in a game and ends in a guaranteed goal. Trez is an asset in attack but he needs others to work for him, if you can't understand that than don't write player ratings.

What makes it worse, IMO, is the fact Trezeguet has completelly changed his approach on the pitch this season and very rarely is that noticed. He runs much more, puts pressure on defenders and goes back to help out on defending corners. When have you ever seen Inzaghi in his own half?

Forza Trezeguet, end of rant.
The argument of him being invisible is as bad as the one saying he isn't consistent :howler:

I don't think he can reject the call up. As long as he is not retired, if he gets a call up and refuses to play then he could be banned a few league matches.

at least that's what I think the rule is.
yes thats right, but theoritcally he could "retire" and then come back when Domenech gets axed after Euro2008

wow that means trez and sissoko in france-mali - friendly :) :) Nice one :) I doubt trez will be a starter and in trez's place, i'd refise the call... domenech is like the biggest dork walking on two legs. And now Trez should be warming the bench there only because benzema is injured.... don't know

Trezegol Still Doubts Euro 2008 Call-Up

Juventus goal-machine David Trezeguet believes that his chances of going to Euro 2008 are still slim, despite his late call-up for tomorrow’s friendly against Spain.

Trezeguet has some well known personal differences with Les Bleus coach Raymond Domenech, and had been frozen out of the national set-up for almost seven months.

However he received a surprise late call-up for tomorrow’s match at the Stade de France when Lyon star Karim Benzema withdrew due to injury.

“Even if this is the last game before the squad of 23 for Euro 2008 is announced, I don’t feel that I have to play a big game against England,” Trezeguet stated.

“Whether or not I am on that list or not doesn’t just depend on this game. Domenech has been building his squad for a while and he has a team in his head, which I have to accept.

“As far as I am concerned, I am always available for the national side. In these months that I have been left out, I haven’t said anything else.

“People try to make me react to the Coach’s choices, but my only response has been on the pitch, in my displays for my club.”

Trezeguet is having a prolific season for Juventus, and is the joint top-scorer in Serie A with 17 goals, only one of them a penalty, from just 28 appearances.

Domenech: Trezeguet Has Always Had Talent :lol2:

France boss Raymond Domenech insists that he always known about David Trezeguet’s ability, despite the Serie A top-scorer’s banishment from recent squads.

Trezeguet has some well known personal differences with Domenech, and had been frozen out of the national set-up for almost seven months.

However he received a surprise late call-up for tonight’s match with England at the Stade de France when Lyon star Karim Benzema withdrew due to injury.

"I know about his talent,” said Domenech about Trezeguet.

“This has not changed in recent months despite the fact he has not been called up.”

Thierry Henry has also been forced to pull out of the France squad due to injury, thus making it extremely likely that Trezeguet will partner Chelsea forward Nicolas Anelka up-front.

"With him I have always felt good,” said Anelka.

“We would be a good pair. Tonight, against Capello, you will see.”

Despite Trezeguet’s inclusion tonight, many people believe that his chances of going to Euro 2008 are still unlikely.

i think this article raises the fact of anelka possibly having a thing for trezeguet and wanting to make capello jealous or for him to watch on of those and that domenech's retard rating is no 999999999999999999/10

Blog: Time to go, Dave
David Trezeguet's last chance to impress Raymond Domenech was far from effective. Steve Wilson suggests he should let go of his French ambitions
Away from all the fawning over the Three Lion's stage-managed centurion, there was a real football story playing out in the Stade de France encounter between France and England.

David Trezeguet's return from the cold to stake his final claim for a place in Raymond Domenech's squad for Euro 2008 was a case of too little too late, and it should probably be his last appearance for Les Bleus.

No matter how much the French fans cheered Trez off the pitch when Sidney Govou replaced him on the hour mark, the fact is it was his strike partner Nicolas Anelka who stole the show.

If you take it as read that Thierry Henry and Karim Benzema are already guaranteed berths in the group for Austria and Switzerland and Anelka has sealed his spot, it doesn't leave much room for manoeuvre.

He may be rattling in the goals for Juventus but his performance last night was tepid and lacklustre. Barring injury, he won't be at the Euros and beyond that Domenech should be looking to build for the future.

It is always a shame when a much-heralded player's international career reaches an end, but Trezeguet needs to now take a step back from the global scene and get his head focused on his Bianconeri duties.

His recent verbal sparring with Domenech has become awkward to watch and it would be better for all concerned if he accepted that he is not required in the national set-up anymore.

He might still have something to offer, but the fact is there are enough players capable of doing the same thing - and players who can offer something in the longer term as well.

He may be popular but that shouldn't mean he is handed cap after cap for sentiment's sake. It takes a brave, strong and confident manager to give the hook to a player who refuses to leave the stage.

For all his faults, Domenech appears so far to have been that man. David can now save some dignity by accepting his fate with grace instead of forcing his Coach to keep making a decision.

I think no comment is needed...:shifty:

that article is just complete BS. Trez should not have gone when domenech called. It's clear that the tactics were not build for trez, and it was pretty clear that trez could not shine really. I didn't see the game, can't comment on that but it's a shame really how our trez is treated. I wonder why trez went back to domenech.... it shows his determination but if i were in position of trez, i couldn't but spit in that retard domenech's face... honestly, i really hope trez does not play at euro, and they get kicked out as soon as possible

Trez is so pissed at Domenech that he refuses to perform. When France played a friendly here in Slovakia, he literally walked on the pitch, because he was included in the France B squad. Trez's problem is not performing well, but his feud with Domenech, I guess...

I guess players cant refuse a call to NT, unless there is a good reason;i.e. injury.otherwise he should announce his retirement to avoid the call up!

LOL, what crap, Trez has 34 goals for the NT while Henry, who has lots more caps, has only 10 more. I'm not berating Henry or making comparisons about the two's abilities, but so much for Trez not offering anything to the NT. The only problem is Domenech, his retarded head and his system he deploys on the pitch. The fact he played Thuram over Mexes says enough about the man's sanity, really.
