I really hope Trez scores in this game, he needs to shut Domenech mouth already. He's determined now with 4 goals in 3 games so far and I hope he delivers.

Trezeguet: I Want To Score For My Mother

Juventus striker David Trezeguet aims to celebrate his mother’s birthday by scoring against Roma on Sunday.

The Bianconeri travel to the Eternal City in a much anticipated clash between two of Italy’s most bitter rivals.

“I want to give my mother a gift for her birthday and score against Roma,” Trezeguet told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “Two years ago I scored two goals here and it is a game I have been dying to play for a year.”

Trezeguet stayed loyal to the Bianconeri after they were relegated to Serie B for their part in the Calciopoli scandal in 2006. The Frenchman admits it is good to be playing the top teams again.

“These kind of games we missed last season - playing at a stadium like the Olimpico against a spectacular squad who are aiming to win the Scudetto,” said the Frenchman.

Trezeguet also offered his views on his controversial substitution in last week’s disappointing defeat against Udinese. The ex-Monaco hitman was replaced by Vincenzo Iaquinta early into the second half.

“When I was substituted I did not want to come off because we were losing and I wanted to help us get back in the game. However I think Ranieri took me off because I had played a full game for France in midweek. Unfortunately we did not find the equaliser,” concluded Trezeguet.

I hope Trez scores a goal or two - so that the number he's scored goes into triple figures! Forza Trez! :weee:
