He is still the best finsiher in the world. :faq1: all the guys who wanted to get rid of him and exchange him for Luca Toni or Gilardino.
:agree: :agree: ABSOLUTELY!!

Trez can't do any special tricks(a la Del Piero,Ibrahimovic,Rooney,Ronaldo n co....)but when it comes to being in the right place at the right time with the right touch...NOBODY(xcept maybe pippo?) does it better!

Reading that about how Raymond doesn't want Trez is a digrace at its best. That man is possibly the most bitter shit on the planet who just deserves what he got with a ban from the touchline. Clearly, this man is one of the top 5 most hated people by me and I really hope for all the worst to France in the qualifiers. Toni is injured, so I say let Vincenzo or Alessandro play. Sorry for off topic but Domenech is a dick.

Trez gets Bleus call

France Coach Raymond Domenech has announced his squad for September 8’s Euro 2008 qualifier against Italy and Juventus’ David Trezeguet is included.

Juventus star Trezeguet netted an opening-day hat-trick against Livorno, but his place has been in doubt after a long-running feud with Domenech intensified in recent weeks.

The ex-Monaco tactician angered Trez by selecting him for France’s B side and also with controversial comments against Italian football.

Domenech alleged that the referee in an Azzurrini victory over France’s Under-21 side in 1999 had been influenced and that there were 'agreements in place within the Italian game.

UEFA have reacted by issuing the outspoken boss with a touchline ban for the San Siro encounter, but Domenech is currently preparing an appeal.

Fiorentina’s Sebastian Frey, Philippe Mexes of Roma and Inter star Patrick Vieira also made the squad.

The squad in full:

Goalkeepers: Frey (Fiorentina), Landreau (PSG), Rame (Bordeaux)

Defenders: Abidal (Barcelona), Clerc (Lyon), Escude (Sevilla), Evra (Manchester United), Gallas (Arsenal), Mexes (Roma), Sagna (Arsenal), Thuram (Barcelona)

Midfielders: Alou Diarra (Bordeaux), Lassana Diarra (Chelsea), Makelele (Chelsea), Nasri (Marseille), Toulalan (Lyon), Vieira (Inter)

Strikers: Benzema (Lyon), Govou (Lyon), Henry (Barcelona), Malouda (Chelsea), Ribery (Bayern Munich), Trezeguet (Juventus)

Trezeguet Ready For 'Unique' Game

Speaking to the press, David Trezeguet gave his thoughts about the upcoming Euro qualifier against France.

David Trezeguet has played at the San Siro many times, but the emotions will be very different as he heads there with Les Bleus.

"I’ve been in the France side since 1998 and it’s always a pleasure to pull on the shirt and see my teammates," he said.

"When you play against Italy you know that it will a top quality game and one with a unique atmosphere."

Trezeguet was the one who missed a penalty in the World Cup final, but the attention is firmly on qualifying for next summer's European Championships now.

With France two points clear at the top, they can find themselves in the comfort zone if they can pull off a win on Saturday, and the concept was very much on the striker's minds.

"In the home game we showed that we are the better side, but we know that Italy are very determined to win in front of their fans and go top of the group," he continued.

"I think it will be a great game and if we could win it, it would be a big step towards qualification."
