Dzeko comes in, Trez stays, Iaquinta and Amauri leave, admittedly at less than fair market value. That money is then used to get a proper LB, and another winger.

quite frankly if we are not buying any new striker, then he should stay.

a 32-33 year old half fit trezeguet can still score quite a few goals if he has the support behind him.

i agree though that because of his injury problems he should take a wage cut if he is staying

Juventus Striker David Trezeguet Has Luigi Del Neri's Backing - Agent

......And Caliendo has underlined another reason for a possible stay in Turin - Luigi Del Neri's influence, but remained open to the idea of a move.

"If it was down to me, Trezeguet would already be a Napoli player," Caliendo told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"But the decisions are down to De Laurentiis. And now Del Neri does not want to lose the player."

Juve ponder Trez U-turn
Monday 12 July, 2010

Juventus are considering taking David Trezeguet off the transfer market at the request of new boss Gigi Del Neri.

The Frenchman was set to be sold given that he had less than one year remaining on his contract with the Turin giants.

Talks with Serie A rivals Napoli have already taken place, but the veteran’s agent has now suggested that Trezegol may stay with the Old Lady.

“If it was up to me then Trezeguet would already have joined Napoli,” representative Antonio Caliendo told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“Juventus planned to sell David, but it seems that Del Neri has been impressed by the player during the first part of pre-season which has changed their thinking.”

Despite Caliendo’s claim, sources in Turin suggest that Juventus will still listen to offers for the former Monaco player given that he will become a free agent next June.
