Di Marzio "Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus? Fabio Paratici was decisive. He was instrumental in making this deal happen. At one point, he understood that this deal wasn't impossible & that it could actually happen, and so he went & discussed it with Andrea Agnelli & convinced him."

So it was all Fabio's (and Agnelli's) work but people praising :beppe: for this deal

yes people are praising beppe because if it wasn't for how he builds the squad this wouldn't have been possible. also, clearing other people out also made it possible and they all work together do they not?

So it's 2018 and people still believe Paratici and Marotta work separately.

:beppe: gives Paratici the confidence to spread his wings and fly.

Agnelli to CR7 at 2:15: "Platini ........... Scirea..........", pointing at the silhouettes of the players in our stands, with CR7 nodding.

Gives me goosebumps.
I wonder what they were discussing before that

Cristiano muttered 73 or 76 or something like that or maybe my lip reading abilities are not that good

Agree with @Cerval.

98 % of us on Tuz never saw Platini play, but he's probably the greatest player we ever had. Easy one to forget for people who never watched him play (myself included).

Golden ball winner 3 years in a row, enough said really.

In Juventino hearts, though, Del Piero is the greatest. And I personally hold Del Piero closer to my heart than Platini, but it's only because I watched him play.

DP is our all time top scorer, top appearence maker, most decorated, longest serving captain, led us out of Serie B.

He should be there. But i understand why they put Scirea and Platini -- the retro feel.

It definitely wouldn't be wrong to put a DP silhouette in our stands

Should squeeze him in there along with the two that's already there :D

Totally agree with you there @Elvin. Paratici is pure gold. MUST stay at the club. He has learned everything there is to learn from Beppe, and has at times shown to be an even better negotiator than the Great Man. Tevez was mostly Paratici, and so was CR7.

edit: Andrea Agnelli/John Elkann also played a big part in the CR7 move. But Paratici was crucial, according to reports.

Especially as Paratici is the actual sporting director now.

In regards to Platini, a colleague of mine at work is a Villa fan in his 50s. Bearing in mind that Villa won the European Cup around Platini's era, he said that Juventus of the time (when playing against Villa in '83) were a phenomenal team but Platini in particular was almost extra-terrestrial in most things he did. You're talking about a legendary player in his own right.
