I took it. There are risk for sure and I would not advise younger women to take it, but for younger men the risk levels are lower.
I had an unpleasant first night though, if I am being honest. I was tired as fuck for 24 hours.

my brother got the 1st dose a couple of weeks ago. he's got high blood pressure and had a stroke 3 years ago.

If you have taken the first shot with astrazeneca, they let yout take the biontech or moderna one as 2nd shot - if you don't want astrazeneca anymore. At least here.

Btw, Yaneer Bar-Yam is one of the heroes of complexity research. Makes an interesting case with data suggesting that having a zero-tolerance Covid strategy - as NZ, Australia, etc. have -- is far better for both health and the economy than the half measures most countries have had with butter-hands commitment levels.

It mostly hit young healthy people iirc. Those would have had a VERY good chance to live through the Rona without the AstraZeneca vaccine.
