Dr. Tess Lawrie who is a specialist in analysing medical metadata claims that ivermectin works against covid based on 60+ studies.
On the other hand you need more evidence from giant medical trials that can be only done by big pharma companies, that have every interest to make ivermectin look useless because it's generic drug with no profit in it.
I wonder why there are no trials then.

Of course, into conspiracy theories now. There are numerous legitimate trials being done now. Instead of the non-peer reviewed, biased nonsense being relied upon in the past. And total bullshit studies like the Egyptian being included in meta-analyses that skew results to actually look favourable.

As I said, if it works, fantastic. But the only ones politicizing it are those jumping the gun based on early in vitro evidence that would require doses ~9 times above anything currently approved for the drug.

And just like the authors of this largely positive meta-analysis say, their findings need to be confirmed by larger trials to get past the shortcomings and issues with the small often slipshod trials done thus far.

I hope it does work. That would be great. But until those major trials are done, and tell us exactly how effective it is and what dose and treatment protocol, saying it can end the pandemic is disingenuous at best.

Ahhhh... the boosters booster :agree:
Nope. I’ll translate.

It’s an anti viral treatment. So basically Ivermectin but for humans. You would get sick with covid and a doctor would prescribe, you’d take it twice a day (tamiflu or and antibiotic) for the duration of the prescription. Then you stop taking it when you’re finished with the treatment.

Could be an alternative for the antivax crowd so they don’t die or get super sick.

I know but I find it funny honestly.

Meanwhile, it seems we'll get 4th dose in February lol
