Yeah, it’s been a stupid rule for a long time. Imo all handballs should be a penalty that meaning intentional or not OR just get rid of the rule altogether. It’s up to whatever the ref decides and most often than not it’s either too harsh or too soft.

i think every handball being a pk is really harsh and could cause issues with players intentionally chipping the ball onto the arm of someone else. But if you do include intention, distance of arm from the body there is simply no way to do it consistently. It just becomes the refs choice.
