A pretty good game by anyone's standards, Chile's Suazo could have made even more of a name for himself had he been able to finish all his chances! Still, 2 goals make a good start. That & a sweet free kick by Villaneuva brought Chile from behind to win. It has to be said that Chile looked far more positive on the counter attack...when they tried to push the issue, Ecuador were dealing with it. Indeed, Ecuador looked for a good part of the game more likely winners but credit to Chile who had the self belief to keep at it! I hope Mexico can pick themselves up to face Brasil in a few minutes, after their Gold Cup disappointment. For the sake of a competetive match, I hope all the media talk of discontent within the Mexican ranks is vastly exaggerated!

What a beautiful individual goal by Costillo & as good a free kick by Ramon Morales as Villaneuva scored with earlier for Chile! And, yes, I agree, how did Costillo miss in the last second after all the hard work was done? Anyway I had my answer as to whether Mexico could pick themselves up after the Gold Cup! Yes, Brasil fielded a reserve side but they're not complete dummies & they were good enough to force Mexico back for a fair part of the 2'nd half, but is Dunga is the man to lead them? Anyway, MEXICO, MEXICO, rah, rah, rah! :)

So happy to see Brazil lose, and please don't blame it because there's no Ronaldinho or Kaka. And what an awesome goal by Castillo, just awesome :)
